I collected an afternoon tea we had pre ordered for our colleagues leaving celebrations. We had a gluten free in our party and I was told that was fab. The food was presented beautifully and tasted just as good. The service was fantastic and very...prompt. I would not hesitate to go back again. Thank you again to the lovely owner who couldn't have done more for us today 😊More

We decided not to go with afternoon tea, we had a sandwich, scone with jam and cream and buckets of tea. Reasonably priced. A real hidden gem

Was taken here for afternoon Tea for my birthday and wow what a hidden delight. Service was excellent even though the lady was on her own. She couldn’t do enough for us. The place is spotless and quirky and the food was delicious the best...scones I have ever had. Will definitely be back. This place is not to be missed.More

Once again....what a delicious carrot cake. The best I’ve tasted but so big had to share with neighbours who asked where they can get it from.

I ordered afternoon tea to be delivered as a surprise birthday gift for a family member. Feedback was fabulous, all beautiful and fresh. The sausage rolls especially were commented on as being "out of this world". Upon ordering, Sarah talked me through the options, and...kept in touch throughout. Highly recommendedMore

A quaint tea room with charming furniture and crockery, and a delicious healthy and filling menu, although I usually go for the smoked salmon sandwich because I like the fresh baked bread or the chicken wrap. The scones are huge with plentiful servings of cream...and jam. I believe the owner, Sarah, is behind the magic as she makes guests feel special and welcome. Whenever I have recommended or introduced new people to Interlude, they have become frequent visitors. I look forward to lunch at Interlude.More

I can't see any cheese scones on the menu but as fore mentioned you could give Joan a ring and I am sure she will accommodate your wishes. You could google interludecafes and look at the menu....not allowed to post the web... More
