Try this cafe when you are in the area - it is set out in 1920's style - the tables are laid out in 1920's style, and they even have a picture of the King (George VI) on the wall. The food is cooked just...More

Visited for a quick coffee and scone Thursday 7th June. Had a small Americano along with a scone and butter. It cost £6.10. Rather an expensive snack for 11am and no one else was in. At that price I am not surprised. Would have been...More

This is a hidden gem, close to Shipley market and not far from the train station, canal or Salts Mill. It has an understated entrance with what looks just like a sandwich and cake bar, as the cafe is down a few steps so no...More

Was recently invited out for coffee and cake to this little gem. Even though lived in the area for years I didn’t know about the place, but it is tucked away in a little corner and well worth a visit. We had coffees/teas and cakes...More

The owner was very helpful on the phone. In reality I felt the service was a bit pushy by suggesting all sorts of food, checking we were ok,checking if we wanted more (just felt a little uncomfortable as too much). The coffee was reasonably priced...More

Hidden away behind the indoor market, Interlude Tea Room brings an ambience and quality not often found in today's busy times. Great food, all made and baked on the premises (including their bread), wonderful service and a chance to chill out before returning to the 21st century.
