Wonderful place for coffee, dinner, lunch. Whatever you want! After reading the reviews in Internet, we decided to drink one afternoon coffee and check what they have in menu. Coffee came with complimentary gift- coloured bonbons. Same evening we decide to visit for dinner. Order...Sef salatasi, meze tabak and lamb. Meze and salad were lovely. Lamb and rice too was nice too. Just expected a litter bit softer. Lovely place and staff. Next day we came back for more meze and tried kofte and chicken sis. Both were delicious. My husband doesn't like so much sweet, but I wanted to try something special from Mardins kitchen. Thank you to all staff and especially to İbrahim! He advised us lovely desserts. We didn't expect to be so delicious. Irmik helva and grape sweet ( Hasu or something like this, not sure for name). But amazing delicious. Perfect end of our evening. Thank you İbrahim and all staff.More
While I'm positive you can get similar food in many places in Mardin, this view can provide only few. Therefore, go at the top floor open terrace preferably to the table by the fence. Unbelievable views of Mesopotamia plains spreading for miles. We ordered only...falafel, coffee and ayran, but the food (which was OK) was in the shade of the scenery you enjoy.More
Excellent cafe on the main road with great views from the rooftop terrace. The staff were very friendly and the local Mardin delicacies were good
A magnificent view, the varieties of ⁰ and appetizers unique to Mardin are simply unbelievable, our family dinner for about 15 people was amazing. The service was very fast, the food was hot and delicious. Price: Between 140-160TL per person (main meal, salad drink) seems...a bit expensive, but it is worth the view and the taste of your food. Service: Personal friendly, hospitable and professional I would like to thank especially Mr. MEHMET for his interest, relevance and perfect service. We will definitely taste those delicious dishes again in Seyr-Merdin on our next trip to Mardin.More
One of the best views in Mardin! Food is okay but there is better to find. They have some nice deserts and a good mix of turkish coffe with different tastes
Food is simply like all the others in Mardin, nothing special in terms of view or food. No complaining about it but its just exactly the same as all the others in mardin old town
We ate Mardin Plate for dinner and it's awesome but breakfast is not good as looks. I recommended this place because dinner is really good + view amazing. Enjoy.
Wonderful affordable food, great views and lovely service. Meals were absolutely delicious , we ordered the stuffed ribs and other local dishes , all of which were amazing. What else is there to say?
Nice restaurant with English menu. Food was OK, I liked the sac tavac that my partner ordered but the mardin plate was kinda disappointing. Service was good, view was good.. Overall I would recommend this for tourist
We arrived here at 7:10 pm and as we arrived they told us that the kitchen will be closed soon ... we sat and forced to order what’s available , where most of the local dishes ( that we came to taste) where not available..., and we ended up ordering very regular food that can be found at any kabapci with tens times better quality ... the food is below average and no special or local food as upon the menu was available !!!More
Worst Restaurant in Turkey. I paid 40 lira for the Mardin plate and most of the food was not fresh. Some of the stuff on the plate was unbeatable. For Turkish standards, the service is really bad. I don't recommend spending money on food there....Just take a drink as the view is nice. When I paid I said it was really not fresh. They just said sorry. Didn't seem to care. This is a tourist rip off.More
The restaurant has a nice view over the Mesopotamian plains. The menu does not include decent lunch options, not that it matters much... After giving us the menus, the waiters decided that they would not bother to serve us and ignored our repeated requests to...take our orders. Poor.More
I came here with pack of friends. They have fast food and beverage service. There isn't any fix menu but i like à la carte anyway. Decent price range for all. It's a shame they haven't any alcohol serving license. The Assyrian wine would be...very nice with that view. There is plenty of coffee instead of wine you can try mirra :) the most bitter coffee of my life :) Night visits recommended even though they have lots of shady spots in their terrace. The wind itself is hot for me but it's your choice :DMore
We booked and went for dinner there. The menu is very poor and the unprofessional staff is unable to give you more detail about the food provided. As we were trying to figure out the menu by ourselves, three members of staff, very young, were...laughing at us. We eventually ordered some food that was tasteless and we paid quite a lot for it. The following day we went to Cercis, a very renown restaurant I definitely recommend, and we paid the same price for far much better quality food, a glass of delicious wine and excellent service. To sum it up, it´s a rip-off...More
