The Old White Hart Inn is set in the picturesque town Square of Llantwit Major and is a short walk from the beach and historic heritage coastal path. It is a beautiful and historic pub with parts of the building dating back to 15th Century. With our large enclosed beer garden a stone throw away from St Illtuds Church or our seating area on the historic Square, you're not short of a beautiful spot to while away for a few hours. We offer three very comfortable rooms for B&B- highlighting keeping in touch with the historic aspects of the original building. We have a large public bar which is dominated by our large wood burning fire a welcome source of warmth on a cold winter's day. We feature a range of real ales served directly from the cask. To accompany these traditional ales we also have a selection of lagers, cider and beers on draught. Also on offer we have a wide range of bottled beers and spirits from around the World. We are now "Cask Marque Accredited" and recommended in 'Good Beer Guide' - ensuring quality cask ale at all times. We have a range of board games which is popular with children and adults alike. Customers with dogs are welcome in the bar and beer garden (to be kept on leads). We are well known for our Live music events - both in our bar and in our beer garden- a very popular family afternoon in the summer. BBQs, Bouncy Castle and much more! We also show all the major sports events live on BT Sport & Sky Sports. Our Restaurant is warm, cosy and welcoming. Our menu is focused on traditional homemade food- the emphasis on using only quality produce from well-respected local suppliers. So, whether you want homemade traditional food,a good old fashioned Sunday dinner, or a cosy drink by the fire ... You will find it at The Old White Hart.
