Came here completely on the off chance. Really friendly staff with a good sense of humour and fantastic, freshly cooked soup. My wife went for the traditional fish stew which was awesome. Came to Jardin Del Sol as we’d heard good reviews but were incredibly disappointed by the food, service and cleanliness. We walked in to be greeted by the jokey waiter telling us “you don’t have a reservation” … I wish I’d have walked away then...!! We were sat at a table with a heavily stained table cloth covered in ants. We ordered our food ; I ordered for my daughter (she’s very shy and we’d told them that) but oh no that couldn’t happen under our various waiters’ watch, trying to get her to order despite the fact we told them she wasn’t going to speak. Then our food arrived. Both of my daughters had ordered a steak. The first one came out completely normal. My younger daughter’s came out half the size. Tiny steak. Tiny potatoes. Tiny portion of vegetables. My spaghetti Alfredo might as well have been a drink for how watery it was. When the bill came we asked if they’d given my daughter a child’s portion which they replied no. We told them it was half the size to no response. Never going back. Assume they think they have a captive audience in the centre of Los Gigantes. Highly not recommended.More

Sorry but no, the flies were ridiculous, totally swarmed our meal. The waiters were apologetic but come on, move the bushes, we have not had any issues for 2 weeks and then this, horrendous. Food was too rich, honestly a total disappointment, much nicer available...throughout the resortMore

The service was excellent and food even better. We all had pasta meals but they cater for everyone. Stunning food. Garlic bread starters. Set amongst the main square a real gem.

The food was excellent and service was very friendly. Knocked off a star because they did not have mojo or papas arrugadas. Seafood platter was brill.

Another two visits on our last trip. Once as a family and the second time as a couple to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The waiters are great. They've been there years and remember us. We are so well looked after when we visit, but then...again, it's not at the expense of anyone else. They're very attentive to all their guests. As ever, the food is great. On our first visit we opted for a Chateaubriand, shared between three of us and it was perfect. So tender and perfectly cooked. Second visit, I had lamb and my wife had seafood. Again, really good. If you're looking for a delicious meal, served in a lovely setting under a canopy of trees, you'd do well to book a table here!More

We managed to book a table last minute for our last night in Los Gigantes and we were not disappointed. The food and service were both absolutely fantastic. The guys are so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The food was beautiful and well...presented. Would 100% recommend a visit to anyone planning a visit to the area. Top class.More

This restaurant has been on our must visit list for many years and when we had our anniversary dinner in June we were not disappointed as the food was up to its usual high standard and the service was excellent. Be advised to book as...Jardin del Sol is popular for quite obvious reasons.More

We visited this restaurant twice last year and again twice this year,on all four visits we found the food to be excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this restaurant .

We looked around the local area for somewhere special to have a meal and booked a table here. We were not disappointed. The service was great and the food was amazing, so much so, we have booked to go back.

Was lovely great staff ..toilet wasn't very clean no loo rolls so that wasn't very good. but food was good
