Good experience with food and service. Quality was good and location is beautiful very green. Next to Kinderboerderij makes it very convenient. I like their special areas for family and company (team) events.
We went here on a Sunday Morning after breakfast in our hotel. It's a great place to take a little walk and see some animals as you go! The caged parts were closed when we were there but we were still able to take a...walk of about 30 minutes around the park and not get bored ;) The visit to the cafe/restaurant afterwards made it complete, we had a nice coffee and hot chocolate with whipped cream :)More
Had Very Nice diner with friends. Big Group, all went Great. Starters from set menu are excellent and so was the dessert 👍
This is one of my favorite places to go with my kids. The brasserie offers a good choice of food and beverages and is located next to the petting garden. It would be even better if the terrace gets fenced so you do not have...to worry about the kids wandering away.More
went for dinner, starter was very good and for the main i ordered grill from the green egg. What a deception. You could still taste the vapour of the charcoal which is not properly burned.... If you use a green egg for a restaurant you...should take your time for the fire to be properly in full flame and start cooking. If you start too early all the fumes of the product you use to start the fire will be cooked in the meat! The restaurant has nice decoration beautifull decoration and a lovely gardenMore
We asked for a quiet table as my father in law has hearing issues. We we welcomed with a smile and the waiter even knew my name as I had made the booking. He led us to the perfect table in the back of the...restaurant close to a window and where the floor was carpeted with a beautiful Persian rug. It was quiet and we were able to talk and hear each other comfortably. We were a a four person group speaking English, French and Swedish and he did not let bother him. He explained that his Swedish and English were perfect and he was willing to give the French a go! Nice! The food was typical brasserie food and he suggested a good wine to accompany it. The service was excellent and we felt very well looked after. He also told us about the restaurant next door and suggested we try it sometime. thanks for the tip and we will.More
We are going there every time we can! It's a wonderful place for adults and children. Cozy place, good meal, good coffee... And they have GLUTEN FREE options also!!! The kids can play inside or outside!
Staff can be rude sometimes especially on busy days. It is however a great location in the park and near a petting-zoo. So it is perfect for family outings especially for younger kids. They organize activities for children each Sunday and it is also a...great location for important events (weddings, birthday parties, work events, etc). The food is always good, made with fresh produce and with healthy options for children. I recommend anything from the menu. It has been tried and tested multiple times as this is one of our favorite places to go to.More
Atmosphere is great, service is good, and the food is great. I had a luch with colleagues, and took the Hamburger, which is BIG...and very tasty.
I've been here countless times throughout my youth, and it's still awesome to come. The personnel is very nice. So is the ambiance and the food. The restaurant is quite "cosy"; the furniture is quite dark, and they even have a fireplace! Outside they sometimes...organize something, like a band that plays some music, but that's only in Summer. Next to the restaurant there is a "kinderboerderij" a place with animals, like sheep and goats. And it lays next to a park - in which you can wander around.More
On a perfect location just outside of the city center of Leiden you will find this restaurant with plenty of (free) parking facilities right outdoors. Nice, sunny terrace and comfy restaurant. The staff is friendly. Quite some good wines to choose from (also by the...glass). The menu features quite some dishes which have been made with us of the Big Green Egg barbecue, a nice feature! I ordered the vitello tonato as a starter, which was very good and the swordfish steak as main, prepared very well. If I have to mention one downside: the toilets .... these really have to be checked/cleaned more often.More
Nice place with great terrace on the edge of De Houtkamp (a park), next to children's farm. Nice place to take children to too !
It was a gamble to transform this once old farm complex into an up to date brasserie. The owners did a very good job. You can taste the old atmosphere while enjoying a good lunch or diner. It is always a surprise what the kitchen...has to offer, but the choice and quality are fine. Brasserie Park has more to offer than meals. It is the perfect place to celebraties a party, enjoy a buffet or even have a wedding. Parking is no problem and the kids May enjoy the animals that live next to the brasserie. If weather permits a meal outside is a pleasure. If you simply want to have a coffee, tea or a drink this place is one of the best in this erea, as it is for a meal. If one likes Apple pie, this restaurant has one of the best on offer.More
Brasserie Park is located in a lovely old Dutch farm house in the heart of Leiderdorp and adjacent to a nice little park. The interior really captures the rustic atmosphere one would expect to find. I arrived with two of my colleagues and we were...a bit in a hurry as we were traveling to get to Schiphol to catch a plane. We had exactly one hour and informed the waitress about our leaving time. Given the short time we had, we decided to go for a simple starter to share (Tapas Platter). Nothing difficult about a Tapas platter of course in terms of cooking difficulty as good procurement and plating skills normally suffice. The starter for sure didn’t disappoint as it was a nice collection of vegetables, meats, olives, mozzarella, tomatoes and bread thus much better than the plates of charcuterie you sometimes get. As a main, I went for the duck leg with Sauerkraut and Calvados gravy; a typical autumn dish which felt appropriate looking out of the window. The Duck leg was incredibly tender although I would have preferred a bit crispier skin. In combination with the Sauerkraut and the gravy it was a great taste experience. Exactly on time the bill was presented so kudos to the waitress as well!More
