Just returned from Sunday \Lunch from the moment we arrived the Staff were on the ball, friendly, explaining the menu and components. Three bread rolls offered Plain , olive, Parmesan and this was never ending always being topped up, iced water simarly, amuse bouche interesting and the four courses without choice , were very finely executed by a very talented... This is a wonderful conversion from a 12th and 13th century building. It has beautiful rooms, a pool and restaurant. The rooms are priced well for what they offer but the restaurant, although I cannot fault the food or service, is a touch expensive and took the edge off the whole overnight stay. I would think the restaurant is a... More

We ate supper outside on a glorious evening with four friends. We chose the tasting menu with wine pairing - three Lautrec & one Muscadelle with extra course accommodated without question (both coming in at around £90 each). In total we potentially had eight " courses" if the complimentary canapes, amusee bouche, pre-dessert & petit fours were counted - but... More

We dined at Chateau de Salettes on a Thursday evening in May on the recommendation of our hosts at Mas des Vignes. The food (the Lautrec four courses) and service were excellent, with two stand-outs - the starter (foie gras marbled with chocolate and accented with mango purée) and dessert (with its passionfruit cream centre). The fish course and lamb... More

This was our second lunch at Chateau des Salettes, the first one being in May of 2014. Both luncheons were superb. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was impeccable. The wine list had many reasonably priced wines in addition to the heavy hitters. We will return to the Chateau anytime we are in the area.

The food could be wonderful here. Inventive and rich flavours. But the service is so abysmally slow it ruins the entire evening. Even with a kids menu they made the children wait nearly two hours for their main course. For the money it is embarrassing and not to be repeated.

We have been lucky enough to enjoy dinner at this lovely restaurant in the courtyard twice now and both times have been thoroughly enjoyable. The first time we had the menu Muscadelle which for 40 euros was really incredible value. The second visit, we chose the Toulouse Lautrec menu. A bit pricier, but incredible food, full of flavour and beautifully... More

Have been here several times. While the service has not been consistently good, most of the time it's quite good. The food is consistently tasty, creative and well presented. The ambiance outside is comfortable and lovely, inside it's a bit "cold" for our taste. Tends to be an expensive meal, but a satisfying culinary experience.

The food was excellent as was the wine. We had a set menu with the paired wines. Wonderful place to go and celebrate a special occasion or just having a romantic meal out.
