Having just visited Scotney Castle we came across the Brown Trout and just managed to find a parking space, was very busy for a Thursday afternoon. Very nice barman and the food was good honest pub grub.

Spur of the moment decision to have lunch here on a Monday. Excellent friendly service and delicious food. Two of the party are vegans and they were catered for with salad and jacket potato. Good value for money.
