The Elephants Head is a traditional 15th Century English Public House. Serving traditional English pub food and quality Harvey's ales from 12pm Monday - Sunday. Both dog & child friendly, the Elephant has a large garden in the warmer months with stunning view & a gorgeous inglenook fireplace for the winter.

Stopped off for lunch with some pals while passing through Kent on the way to Hastings. Staff were really welcoming (despite our being in cycling gear) and the burgers (2x beef, 1x halloumi) were delicious and very generously portioned.

We turned up not knowing thew area as we were passing through and we were all pleasantly surprised. We sat outside in the garden and all enjoyed our food. The calamari was amazing and the kids all enjoyed their meals - there was nothing left.
We stopped off as a last minute decision whilst passing very welcoming quick service we had a lovely meal and peaceful drink. Garden is very open and spaces between tables good value meal
This was our first visit to the pub, with friends, for Sunday lunch and I was so happy I chose it! We had a friendly welcome from the young staff and not too long to wait after placing our orders.
