On passing through Bridge of Weir we thought we would stop for a bit of lunch and chose Lochnagar at random. What a fortunate choice. Garlic mushrooms and bacon on toasted brioche, macaroni cheese followed by lemon meringue pie and choc brownie. Excellent food and...More

Great selection of home made cakes. All made on the premisses by the owner. Food menu whilst not extensive offers more than enough for a good lunch.

Perfect home cooking. Afternoon tea is a must, been round for years. Family run, fresh on the day. Very nice lunch, again home cooking. Best prices in the village. Great family place.

A great place for young mums to go with their children. Older mums too. In fact, anyone who wants to enjoy good home baking and well-prepared eats in a cosy, comfortable setting.

Lovely space and good food. Try the twice baked cheese souffle or the brie and bacon toastie. The cakes are scrummy too. Chikdren are welcome and my 2 year old grandson lives the pea and mint soup.

Have been here many times and food always excellent (portion sizes could be slightly bigger). Great selection of home baking as well. Very spacious inside and also a separate area for younger kids if needed. Will continue to go back on a regular basis.

Great place for lunch in a quiet village. Home baking and home cooking. Tried not to look at the cakes but the brie toastie is yummy as is the twice baked cheese souffle.
