We visited the pub after a wander up to the elephant trees. The pub itself is small but managed to accommodate our large group. The beer was good and staff seemed friendly. I can't comment about their food as we only dropped in for a quick drink. It an ideal stopping point after a day in the dales.

We popped in on the off chance and were pleasantly surprised. The food was great and on time. The land lady was lovely without being over pushy and the atmosphere was nice and chilled. Love it!

I like this pub. Visit Wolsingham every Bonfire Night and always make the Black Bull a must visit. Great country pub, open fires, good selection of ales and friendly owners. Went in for a quick pint and had 5!

We visited here a while ago as a second attempt after the new landlords arrived. The first time we waited for absolutely ages for our food (2 tables in) and when it came it was pretty bad. I had lasagne and it was just a pool of grease. The guys had burgers and gammon which were OK. But, since it... More

5 minutes walk they said, from the Paddock where we were spending the night in our motorhome ... they were right and what a warm welcome we received in the cosy Public Bar, with a roaring wood fire, armchairs & settles round the wall. My other half enjoyed a pint or 3 of Jennings Cumberland, while I had some Chardonnay.... More
