Ate here with a few freinds who live near the town of Riberac whilst i was visiting them. Their first choice of restaurant was fully booked and as they had been here before we were happy to go here instead. The service was welcoming and the waitress spoke english. Its a modernish place and feels freindly. Food was ok, but... More

We made for this restaurant because of the good reviews it had received, we did indeed have a very good plat du jour, for e13.00, which we thought was very good value, we did have a Demi carafe of wine which we thought expensive at e9.00. The young lady serving was extremely charming and very efficient, which allows you to... More

we happened upon this restaurant just at thé end of thé friday market. The chalkboard advertised filet de raie-one of my favorites which is not that common. The young lady who took our réservation for an hour later was very friendly and efficient. The restaurant quickly filled with locals who seemed to come weekly to this spécial place. The food... I stayed in Riberac with my wife for house hunting purposes. This restaurant was the best one we visited in the town. Very French menu exquisitely cooked and served by people who had actually been trained perfectly. We went here twice (unusual for us) and both times were very good indeed.

My husband and I recently returned from Riberac. We have enjoyed several visits there however the first time we have tried Le Chabrot restaurant. The food was fabulous. We had 2 courses as we could not fit any more in. Food, service and wine all lovely. Looking forward to going back next year.

Six of us visited restaurant on the 19th September. Great meal. Best home made Pate de Foix Gras in the area. The veal was out of this world. Well worth waiting for. Hardly needed knife to cut it. Fondant chocolate was the icing on the cake. Good service. Nice atmosphere. Well worth the cost. Better to have a small menu... More

We stayed in Riberac for two weeks and only ate out three times, two of those were at Le Chabrot. The food is excellent, the soup I had once had been over 24 hours in preparation it was beautiful. The service, the wine and the typically laid back French feeling about the restaurant made us return rather than risking somewhere... More

Only one negative, the decor... it's not a particularly nice room, lots of bright colours however, the food and the service make up for it. The waitress was charming and spoke perfect English, the food was fabulous and at €26.00 for the "decouverte" menu, there is no room for complaints! Another must stop!
