Booked table for lunch (it was Friday and market day in Riberac) and we were very happy with the meal that we were served. Tasty starter (a sort of Scotch egg with copious salad leaves) Pork with sauce and a small selection of veg for main, and a delicious assortment of 3 desserts. All for 16€ - truly excellent value!... Set menu was either fish or steak. Fish a bit dry, the steak tasty but gristly.Chips good but few vegetables. Pudding excellent. The decanted vin Rosé was basic. The service was excellent as usual & the proprietor as courteous as ever. Have been there many time in groups and with friends. I understood that the proprietor is Swiss . He... More

Le Citronnier embraces the true definition french cuisine in the heart of Riberac. Our party was staying at the nearby Chateau Le Mas de Montet for a wedding and on our last night altogether we decided last minute to dine one more time as a group. Le Citronnier accomodated our group of 30 and reserved seats for the lot of... More

The chicken and duck was tasty but very little in the way of vegetables - 1 piece of broccoli and a spoonful of Swede. There was very little choice on a Saturday lunchtime - no starters at all and just cheese or profiterol for dessert.

Very good restaurant with excellent food and service. Get there before 9pm for the set meal price. Lovely outside courtyard for fine weather. Open when some of the other restaurants in town are shut. Really good food and great choice of wine.

We booked a table at the restaurant for dinner. You can eat outside when weather is find; in the courtyard undercover or as we did in the main restaurant. The welcome was warm the food beautifully presented and my steak and sauce was excellent. I finished of with strawberry pavlova that was superb. If in Riberac worth a visit for... More

Super courtyard dining (in hot weather) with great wine, service and food. What more could you ask? I would like to see foie gras off the menus but that's a big ask in this region! Scallops and chorizo were delicious set off by a stream of sesame seeds. Rest of meal equally carefully balanced.
