This was my 4th visit to Grain de Sel in the last 3 years and it was not what I remembered it to be. We were seated immediately upon arrival of our reservation. That was a good start, but it ended there. Nice open space on the porch just steps away from Salines Beach, we came for dinner. After ordering... More

Quaint restaurant located next to the parking at Salines beach. A good place to go after some hours on the beach. Our table was located next to the mountain wall and we had good shade. The lamb was delicious and the waiters friendly.

Our plan was to check out Saline today and we stumbled upon Grain De Sel (which is on our to do list). After realizing the "hike" to Saline and lack of wind there today was not favourable for us we opted to have lunch instead. Glad we did! Upon reading my reviews I understand I may sound like a broken... More

We arrived just after noon, we were seated, and then nothing happened for a long time. I eventually asked for a menu, and was told that the kitchen will open soon. They could have told me that in the first place, and still give me a menu. We ended up getting different salads with seafood (one was the Thai salad),... More

A very special place with a very special chef and very casual ambience. I feel the need to give a shout out to tourists as the regulars don't need it. Eddy is simply the best West Indies Chef on the island. It's right next to Saline Beach so in tourist season can be crazy at lunch. The rest of the... More

Pierre, our villa concierge, recommended this restaurant when we arrived on Saturday evening. Driving in the dark, it seemed like we were going well off the beaten path and we thought we had gotten the directions wrong! It's the last restaurant before Saline Beach and was well worth the trek. The proprietor is jolly and so friendly, the atmosphere convivial... More

If you want to lounge around for 3 hours, this is your place. Understaffed and very French, this restaurant features a wait for your meal ambiance. Once received, it was mediocre.

We got here by recommendation of our landlord. The restaurant sits underneath a massive rock which gives it a great look. There is a bar and an open terrace where dinner gets served. The service was attentive and friendly with a sense of humour. Food Creole style with a French touch was very good and pricing was moderate. A clear... More

Good island food, available all day. Rustic surroundings with a family of iguanas. Very open and can be hot but go for the flavours. Try the fish boudin and freshwater prawns.
