We visited Bay Horse whilst travelling back from a day in Bridlington. All I can say is wow... the food was fantastic. I had hunters chicken, my wife had large fish and chips and my daughter had the huge inside out burger. All of the food is home made and presented beautifully. The onion rings are to die for! Very... Good pub food, with a friendly service. Was a little cold in the restaurant, and service slightly slow, but we were a party of 10 with clean plates all round and nice deserts to follow.

Visited for Sunday lunch 19th Feb. Sunday lunch was good but not outstanding for £8.95, lamb shank was poor for £12.95 no taste of red wine ju....just gravy. Lamb was over cooked. Deserts were dreadful. Apple crumble was worst I have ever eaten, it was running with liquid and hardly any crumble, could not eat it. The chocolate orange mousse... More

As we all had visited here before in smaller parties for Sunday dinner we decided to come again as a larger party Saturday evening, there were 13 altogether, but, unfortunately, we had to wait over an hour for our starters, one of the food choices was now unavailable which affected 3 people, my dinner had half the items missing from... We visited the Bay horse on Sunday for a family celebration,we booked as the pub gets very busy. We had been recommended to go there and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent as was the food., Two of us had the roast and the others had the pie. The staff were very attentive and kept us supplied with... More

The Bay Horse has recently become one of our favourite destinations for Sunday dinner. The food is cheap and wholesome with lots to fill you up. The outdoor play area is great for the kids as well.

For a country pub on a back road it was nice and busy, that feels like a good start to begin with. Nice bar area on entering, and another room separated off for a more restaurant feeling. As it was night steak - 2 for less that £20 and a bottle of wine as well! Was very nice The pub... More

Simple home cooked food well priced and good sizes. In a traditional country pub with no frills just spoils. We all cleared our plates. The steak and ale pie was just like my nans, tasty and full of meat. Nice chunky chips and a rich gravy. We will definitely be going back next time we are up.

Went to enjoy a Christmas dinner but were told that was only available if booked yet paper advert did not appear to state that. Had soup which was only Luke warm but was so Hungary just ate it. The next problem partly my fault, I have never had a pulled pork I thoroughly enjoyed but chose that asking for not... More

First visit, food was really nice, vegetables were a little too al dente for our liking though, the Lemon Possett was amazing! Service was efficient and friendly, will definitely call again!
