Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We decided to come out for lunch very last minute and luckily they were able to squeeze us in. What can I say? The food was amazing all home cooked & freshly made, excellent portion sizes and it all tasted absolutely delicious. We all had...something different from the menu some of us had roast some of us had pub Classics and we also tried the most amazing curry and they even catered for the children. We also had desserts and again all made in house fresh and absolutely delicious . We were so happy we decided to come out for lunch today. Everyone was really friendly and the atmosphere was great. Will certainly be paying a visit again. We also spoke to a few members of staff who stated that all the food used was from local businesses which made it even better.More

We gathered family for son’s birthday tea and we all had a great time. Bloody lovely food. Asian inspired meals along with classic pub offerings. Decent portions too! Staff were super attentive and on the ball, especially dealing with a chaotic large group. Don’t be...fooled by its local country pub exterior, it’s certainly gives that (I say this as a positive!!) but offers a modern menu not stuck in a country pub rut. When you drive by and it catches your eye, stop and give it a go. We’ll be back at the first opportunity for sure!More

Being Easter weekend, my wife and I decided to take the opportunity to go out for Sunday lunch and chose one of our favourite restaurants, Three Horseshoes, to do so. We particularly like this premises because, as well as serving great food in their restaurant,...it has a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere of a friendly village pub. A rare thing when many village pubs are turning into restaurants with very little atmosphere left. We ordered beef and lamb, respectively. Both dishes were tender and delicious and in a generous portion. They came with a well cooked and varied selection of accompaniments. We followed this with a spectacular Easter themed, Easter egg sundae, which was as tasty as it was visually impressive. All in all, great food, friendly service and a good atmosphere. A very enjoyable Sunday lunchMore

Stayed overnight in our campervan. Made to feel welcome by the staff from the off, and happy to see our four legged member of the family. The food was some of the best we have tried anywhere. (and iv tried a lot) Asian themed in...flavours and presentation. Waiting time was acceptable considering how busy they were. The waitress and bar lady were smiling and attentive. The landlady was helpful in advising what to go for from a wide and varied menu board . Sunday roasts will be the next visit as they looked so so tempting Thoroughly recommend this Suffolk gemMore

First visit while in the area and we were not disappointed! We had two main dishes from the menu which we understand is regularly updated. Both had amazing flavour and were of Asian origin. Will definitely visit again. Thank you

Another really delicious meal at The Shoes. We didn't pre book which was definitely an error but the staff were super accomodating and managed to squeeze us in. Three adults and three children all had roasts and were not disappointed! Even the vegetarian in our...party was very well catered for. I rarely order beef for a roast but the brisket was melt in your mouth fabulous. Great atmosphere for a tasty Sunday lunch complete with a real fire and friendly service. I really should to use this pub more often, it's always a delight 🙌More

As Always a very warm welcome, we had a table of 6 booked and couldn’t be more accommodating! Service was perfect, quick and very knowledgeable of the menu and helpful! The food is on another level, it’s outstanding! All 6 of us got exactly what...we ordered, in good time and to amazing standard! The choice of desserts is near on impossible to choose just one 😂 all of them sounded amazing, we had the brownie and the cheesecake between us and they where sooooo good! The fire was on and was so cosy! My dad is into different ales and beers and was impressed with the variety! Can’t wait to come back and try something different on the menu!More
