On entering we were greeted by a friendly face and pleasant atmosphere. 2 of the 11 people had just completed a skydive at a local club therefore given prior notice the chef stayed in to cook... Pitched up in our motorhome overnight. Very friendly, helpful staff and locals who were keen to share tips for our trip. I wasn't massively hungry so had a yummy tempura prawn starter. Hubby really enjoyed the chicken stir fry. The pub is on the main drag so there is a little bit of traffic noise and the night we stayed... More

My son and I enjoyed delicious meals last Friday evening, here at our local pub. The serving was generous, so much so, I struggled to finish. No worries, George, the barman, kindly wrapped up what was far too delicious to leave, which I then enjoyed for my tea on Saturday, (so two meals for the price of one!!) Can definitely... More

Built in 1495. This wonderful pub in rural england is on the outskirts of the Suffolk National Park. We have spaces for overnightamping and caravaning. We belong to BRITSTOP & The Caravan Club of Great Britain. We offer the best of local real ales and ciders or just drop in for a tea or coffee. Our resteraunt offers a very extensive menu of pub fod and snacks. We are only a short walk from the River Waveney, 20 minutes from the coast, 5 miles from Beccles.
