Very good friendly staff as always usually try to visit when we are in Beccles Good and varied selection on menu and a nice selection to take away as well ideally situated in the town centre

A day visit a Good meal But did not like the aggressive tipping pointers given by the staff when coming to pay put me of going again

This was second visit after finding the place by chance during a broads visit in 2021. We brought our friends this time. We had a delicious big breakfast but one of our friends had poached eggs on toast which we were charged £9.50 for which...is a bit steep we thought. Also tea was brought over in pots which was great but by the time breakfast came to tea was luke warm at best. Staff were very friendly though and our food was very tasty.More

fancied breakast and it was 5 minutes to 12 noon - waitress came over and i ordered 2 coffees and said i just wanted to look at the menu. 12.02 she came back i ordered 2 full english breakfasts - she said she would have...to ask the chef as it had gone 12 noon. there was 3 other people in the restaurant having coffee and scones. i said that if that was the case i would go elsewhere. she said they would,do it - 25 minutes later it arrived. the breakfast was good but what an attitude - at nearly £30 - plenty of staff but they are slow and disorganised. will not go againMore

On the hottest day of the year, we had a craving for a couple of true continental iced coffees. Asking at the counter if they sold such a thing, a charming young lady said she hadn’t heard of such a drink. When we described the...contents, iced black americano coffee, a ball of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream on top, she said she would go away and try her best to reproduce the drink. When they arrived, they were spot-on and really delicious. I hope this will be a new addition to the list of drinks on offer in the future. Instead of being served in a cup this drink is traditionally served in a sundae glass with a straw and long spoon. The taste of that iced coffee lingered with us all day…what a treat and what a lovely girl with a “can do” attitude, how refreshing!More

Staff friendly and quick service. Disappointed about cost and quality. £4.95 for a milkshake! £4.55 for a child pancakes! Then £10.50 for Egg Royal where the salmon was poor quality (almost impossible to cut,) and instead of a savour muffin style bread a sweet brioche...style roll (which didn't go)More

Lovely outdoor eating area, great choice of coffees. Knowledgeable staff member who gave very clear directions to avoid road closure, so took away my stress about getting to Southwold. Many thanks!!

We were so impressed by this little cafe. We stopped for a snack while spending the morning in Beccles and sat outside in the peaceful garden. The gluten free menu is extensive, I have never had a gluten free cheese scone in a cafe and...it was heavenly. My daughter says it was the best Blondie she has ever had and the other adored the crunchy churros. We look forward to returning on our next visit.More

I went for an afternoon coffee/tea with my Mum and my daughter. The soy vanilla chai is delicious and worth trying! The surroundings are great with options of inside , outside in a very pretty courtyard or in the glass garden room. The service was...very good and I particularly want to mention Lydia whose act of kindness totally changed my daughters day. This young lady is full of empathy and deserves high praise. I can’t thank her enough. She’s a little star.More

This place has definitely gone downhill over the years. Ran out of gluten free scones, ran out of white chocolate milk drink, loud rock music playing, my coffee served in.a "plant pot" with no handle. Cost over £15 and then they had the gall to...ask if we wanted to leave a tip. Won't be back. Plenty of other choices.More
