Bob's Clam Hut at Sugarloaf was an excellent dining option with great seafood - BUT is closed in Spring of 2015 and was not reopened for 2016 season. The space was taken over by a donut shop. Trip Advisor needs to remove it from their restaurant list!

I look forward each winter to the opening of Bob's at the Sugaloaf baselodge. I do not eat clams or oysters, but I love fish and chips, or more specifically, fish and onion rings. The fish is in a very light batter that does not take away from the taste of the fish, which is always fresh and sweet. Did... More

So I love seafood and I knew it was fried but luckily, my husband and I shared a basket of half Bob's and half Lillian's crabs with onion rings. (I wanted French fries but we were sharing and I got to pick the seafood part). Anyway, it is delicious but heavily breaded and I found a little heavy on the... More

HUGE PORTIONS. DAMN GOOD CLAMS. Don't get the "large" unless you have a huge appetite. Fries are good as well. I ALWAYS go there at least once during a visit.

This place has great food. The lobster roll is so good, with very reasonable price. This is a place we don't want to miss whenever we take a trip to sugarlof ski resort.

Best Seafood in Maine! Especially in the Winter! Try the Clams or Lobster Roll! Or, any of the daily specials. Located in the base lodge at Sugarloaf.

The light crumb fried clams are the best in Maine! The lobster roll is a generous portion of lobster. You can't beat Bob's!

The clams are fresh, as are the shrimp. The breading isn't too heavy. The meals are cooked up fresh, after you order. Plus, portions are generous. An adult can make do with a kid's meal. But sometimes more is better. We keep going back every time we ski Sugarloaf.

Love Bob's in Kittery but we don't live there. We do live at Sugarloaf and Bob's here is our piece of the coast! It's so wonderful to enjoy clams so fresh that you can taste the brine of the ocean while enjoying our mountain life. Just wish Bob's was open year round up here. Hint Hint!

I was skiing at Sugarloaf for five days. I ate at Bob's -- for all five days. Clam strips, crab cakes, lobster rolls, lobster stew, fish stew, fish sliders -- all good. Only downside, is that no matter how many runs you make, it's hard to burn off all the calories that you consume at Bob's. Other than being bad... More
