Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Out for a drive as the weather was so good and happened to spot the sign for The Ring off the main road, so glad we did. A very warm welcome from the staff, a lovely, cozy welcoming establishment which I'm sure will be a...favourite of ours. Menu was varied and would appeal to most tastes. We had pie of the day which was steak and ale and very much enjoyed by my other half who is quite the pie expert, I opted for the dragon pie which is something I wouldn't usually go for but it sounded very appealing and I wasn't disappointed, I would certainly order it again. A pint of Conway Ale and a pint of cider accompanied our meals perfectly. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. We will return to try out more of the menu.More

Very poor quality sunday lunch. Meat was full of fat and rubbery. Very expensive for a 1 course meal. Heard amazing things hence why we came. Each to their own!! Did not want to make a fuss so paid and left. Staff were atentive. I...know i'll probably get a sarcy reply on here but please respect my view/opinion which i'm entitled too.More

We dropped in for Sunday lunch. Despite being very regular visitors to the island for 10+ years, we had never been here before. All early signs were good: ample car park, clean, well-maintained building. The interior was just as clean and well-presented. The food was...even better, possibly the best pub roast that I have had, huge portion and at a very reasonable price. Staff were very friendly, and our young dog felt at home. We will return.More

We stayed 2 nights over New Year celebrations and to visit Anglesey. We received a warm welcome and staff were fantastic at all times. The room and the pub were beautifully decorated to a high standard. Our room was cosy and had all you needed....Complimentary water/tea/coffee/biscuits -bathroom; handwash, handcream, shower gel (no conditioner). The bed was made up as a large double. I am a very light sleeper and had reservations about the bed and because of the modern well thought out decor in the room, I was expecting a bed with memory foam but it felt like a more traditional style. but I found the bed very comfortable and slept well. The breakfast was awesome with a great choice of cereals/pastries etc and the choice of cooked was extensive. Best breakfast we've had. The menu for dinner was comprehensive and tasty but we felt a tad pricey. The Ring is dog freiendly but for us without dogs we did not find this to be a problem and the restaurant part had no dogs allowed. Food was also available in seating within the bar area where you can have your furry friend. My husband always calls me Alex Polizzi whenever we go away and I can honestly say we absolutely loved this place. It's a real gem. Will definitely be back, either trying their camping facilities or booking another room.More

The Ring has been refurbished to a high standard, and is a lovely setting for a meal, the service was good, staff were polite and attentive. We came here for a good Sunday Lunch, however we were most disappointed, we had beef dinner, and a...duo of meat dinner, the beef was like leather, the veg was cold, and the Yorkshire pud was over cooked on top, but had a soggy bottom. We took the Beef home for the dog. They didn’t charge us for the cheaper meal. The couple on the next table to us were also unhappy, they had the same complaint as us, they were on holiday and had come out for a nice Sunday Lunch, but alas this was not to be. Such a shame, because this is such a nice setting.More

More like a 4 star hotel than a BnB. Rooms are immaculate, very clean and made up daily. Very dog friendly. Even for Anglesey this is in a very quiet location. Staff polite, helpful and courteous. Ample parking.
