Asked if there were any food issues
Waited ages for food and when it came the chicken was over cooked, dry and poor value. The staff were very pleasant and did apologise for the delay, it was a pity the quality of the food didn’t match the quality of the staff.
This is not a local pub to us, but after out first visit today, we will make the effort to come again. We had Sunday roasts - one beef and the other pork loin.. As a non meat eater, I chose the salmon in butter...More

Recommended to us by a local and they were right. We stopped for lunch and had a lovely meal. The food was simple and delicious (definitely try their crumble if on offer), and the beer was well looked after, you could tell by the taste!
We had their Lasagne...it was awful. After all the glowing reviews I expected more. We must have caught them on a bad night.
