If you're looking for good, tasty, and authentic Portoguese food, this is the place to visit. Decor, etc, very plain, but the food...... very very good.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in the east of Johannesburg. It has a fully well-stocked bar and very friendly and helpful staff. Ample, safe parking, even in the evenings. Really good seafood, but also very reasonable. Perfect for year-end functions or just a business lunch. Highly recommended. My favourite on the menu is definately the seafood espetada. Mmmmm!

Great place. Went with visitor from Lisbon. He was super impressed. Called it authentic Portuguese home cooking. Best giblets & clams I've ever had. My prawns were a little tough & dry. Overcooked I think. My guest found his monk fish too firm but delicious flavour. Service was on the inattentive side. Otherwise would have given it too marks

Lovely Portugese restaurant in Kensington, Johannesburg. Food is excellent. Very busy place and favoured by the locals. Prices is acceptable. Plates are large. The negative was that our waiter was not good and it was difficult to communicate with him. He didnt look after us well. The food surpasses the one bad waiter. Will defenately visit again

We arrived at O'Braserio in Kensington and I must say I was a little apprehensive given the exterior. It really doesn't look like much... but we continued downstairs and went in. I'm so glad we did! The restaurant is a real family-run restaurant, it's not at all fancy or ostentatious. It was however very pleasant. The service was super, our... More

What an amazing, amazing place to have proper authentic food. Being Portuguese myself, I am often very disappointed by restaurants who claim to be Portuguese. Braseiro was not the case this time. The starters were divine, main was even better and the dessert tasted the way my grandparents made them. Happy, happy happy. Will recommend this place to anyone! It's... More

Great food at reasonable prices. I thoroughly enjoyed their prawn dishes. This is a owner run restaurant which appears to enjoy strong support from locals.

fresh authentic Portuguese and mocambique cuisine, the seafood is devine, had great oysters, clams and prawns there. The place was amazingly busy for a Thursday night seeing as it is based in a residential area and not in the usual mall/ shopping areas.
