All members of staff very friendly. Efficient service. Straightforward food, nothing fancy but good. Very reasonable prices. Lovely, typical French atmosphere. Not overrun by the English. Lots of regulars.

In the centre of Coutances, with a Parisian feel, this restaurant is very popular at lunchtimes and deservedly so. The food is good quality and often copious. Nor is it expensive. The waiting staff are mainly young - but always polite and efficient. One word of caution: the salads are HUGE!

Very good value for money. Very efficient service and the staff couldn't be more friendly. Relaxing atmosphere. Good food, nothing fancy but you get what you pay for. One of our favourite places to have a quick meal.

Central location facing Cathedral. Typical traditional French Bar/Brasserie. Service was prompt and friendly. Range of fix price menus plus a la carte. Also wide selection of beers. Omelettes avec frites were substantial eating and highly recommended.

We had visited Coutances many years ago and decided to renew our acquaintance with the place. We had remembered this restaurant from our previous visits and decided to go there for coffee. Having ordered coffee, we decided to order lunch as well - this was an excellent decision. Great service, lovely location and excellent food.

We were 4 and enjoyed a variety of salads and an omellette, which were all very good... Acompagnied by a pichet of red... Very quick and friendly service... Our friends go quite often, so we will be back...

I chose the 17 euro set lunch which had 4 choices for each of the 3 courses. My escargot were superb. Loads of garlicky butter. My escalope Normandie was delicious and a classic creme caramel to follow. Washed down with a cold beer. Great food, great service, great value. Highly recommended.

Visited several times in the last few months and the service is always friendly. The food is consistently good. Not masterchef quality but very pleasant to eat. Not a restaurant for snobs. This is a place for people who enjoy a normal relaxing atmosphere to eat well.

I have visited this place with my French partner and when he ordered, we were served reasonably quickly. When I went with another English person, we were not served very quickly. The 2 men who run the place haven't half a smile between them, nor have the waitresses. And that's for the French customers, too, so I don't feel too... More
