Family of seven ate here on Wednesday 20th Feb. Four adults and three children. Warm and friendly welcome, good choice of beers. MOO Pie was excellent as was the fish and chips. Children ate free and ate everything on their plates.

Fresh home cooked food. The parsnip soup was spot on and the Sunday lunches looked fantastic. We will definitely be visiting again. Only tiny thing I’d like to see more of was fish/ veggie dishes.

One of my fave places locally to eat (and drink...and take part in a quiz!) - we've been going for a fair few years now and love the service! The food is plentiful - so much so that as much as I'd love 3 courses...More

We couldn't fault the food, the real ale or the service. If there were more veggie options I would have rated it excellent but I suspect carnivores will be more than impressed with the menu.

Won’t be going here again. Poorly presented, pale lifeless salad & frozen mash! George’s bistro down the road is class compared to this place.

The staff are friendly, the new menu is really good. I had the trio of bites and Sunday dinner and my husband had pate and the moo pie and it was gorgeous portion sizes are good. Good value too, will defiantly be coming back soon.

Service was pleasant and food was amazing. I had the ‘Moo’ pie and it was amazing. Unfortunately there were a few things that had sold out so we had to change our order slightly, twice. Frustrating, but still the food was great!
