Held dad’s memorial here following his internment of ashes. We were blessed, Don, Kirsty and their team were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble they laid out the food, made tea’s and coffee for whoever wanted, sorted out the slide show of pictures and the playing of a video that had been put on a memory stick. All this is private area with it’s own patio garden. I can’t recommend them highly enough, please check it out if you are looking for a venue. Lovely place to even go for a drink and catch up as they also have a lovely garden at the back.

Driven past the pub many times before and as we drove past today kids said they was hungry, so pulled over jumped out ran in asked if they was serving food to be told “yep” and then handed a menu. On quick glance spotted plenty of options for the kids and partner, called the rest of the family in ordered are drinks at the bar passed the menu to my partner who couldn’t decide out of 3 options. Narrowed it down to the sausage and mash! I ordered the steak and kids had sausage meal and cheese burgers! Ordered food came out in reasonable time and tasted amazing! Spoke to the chef after and said to come back for the carvery! Definitely be returning soon! Staff so friendly and good atmosphere in side!

So impressed with the staff here, a friendly and hospitable welcome. I had a pint of Olivers Island which was in good condition. Went on to Pride. It didn't look or taste good. Took it back the young lady changed the barrell, pulled some through and let me try it. It was beautifully clear and tasted good. They have just started doing Thai food which is apparently going very well, especially the Green Curry. I'm coming back to try the Sunday roast as it looks delicious on the flyer.

We ordered a pizza and chicken burger with our drinks.
The pizza was served in a pizza box! I asked for a plate, and we were given two paper plates. Luckily two, as I had to share the pizza; which was nice flavour.
My chicken burger eventually was served, in a takeaway box. It was an untoasted white bun, with a small piece of chicken on a few bits of shredded lettuce, soaked in mayonnaise. I returned it for a refund!
The girl text her manager, as she said she couldn't authorize that. By the time we were leaving, no refund. So the girl phoned her manager, but it went to voicemail. She and the other barmaid again told me that they couldn't authorize refund, so I spent a while demanding it, firm but not rude.
Eventually the £8 was slapped on to the counter, and we left.

Just been served the most disgusting “meal” Ever !. We decided to stop off for lunch around 12.30 pm today. We were told that there was a “limited “ menu so with that in mind we chose Nachos to start followed by Double Pepperoni Pizza. Cutlery and Condiments were put on our table and eventually the food arrived. Both the Nachos and Pizza were put down in front of us in takeaway boxes ! I managed to find One small dried up piece of Pepperoni on the pizza then came the Nachos in a polystyrene box they were broken up in small pieces ( No cheese on top) and what could only be described as freezing cold “slop” (sour cream,guacamole and salsa). Absolutely Disgusting food which we left . No one came near nor could be seen to complain to ! Would never recommend nor wish to eat there Ever Again!!

I have known this pub since the 80s, we held my parents 50th wedding anniversary party here.
I received a friendly welcome from the girls on the bar. Had a couple more pints of London Pride, on pretty good form as us Camra members say. The roast lamb meal was generous with a good helping of gravy. I thought the carrots were tinned but I could be wrong. The chef asked if I enjoyed the meal and I certainly did. I get the impression the guys here are trying to build the business up and I think they will be successful.

I can't thank Donald and the team at the Hare & Hounds for making my daughters Baptism do so special. They were so helpful, professional and made the perfect.
I used the the same private function room in February for my baby shower. The room is a great size with private outdoor tables at the front of the pub.
Donald provided background music and had so much choice.
I would 100% use The Hare & Hounds again for a function and would always recommend to and friends or family, we had an amazing day.

Lovely beer garden, away from traffic. Iced cold coffee. Iced fruit beer. Sat in the shade. Recommend to try the iced coffee. Staff friendly and helpful.

last time i went in the service from the staff was pretty good even tho at the time it was that busy. and they also have a love large garden to sit in with shelter as well in case it rains

Found this to be a very friendly pub that we visited after work everyday this week, welcoming friendly staff, great food and reasonably priced. Large smoking area and pool tables, large screen TV everything we wanted

Had a joint 85th and 50th the day was perfect and this was because Donald and his team, Kirsty, Amanda and the boys did so much and couldn't do enough to help us celebrate. Thank you guys !! Had a private gathering with family for dad's 90th, Donna was so helpful helping to set up the room decoration etc, and what amazing food we had a wonderful spread that Amanda layed on for us, absolutely brilliant so fresh,a brilliant assortment absolutely first class, my dad had a fabulous evening, thankyou so much, would recomend 100% and definitely will be going back lovely lovely lovely thankyou my lovelies.

Called in briefly for a lunchtime pint of Fullers London Pride and found the pub newly refurbished with friendly serving staff and a large beer garden - just right for al fresco dining or drinking.
Would certainly call in again when next in this area.
