We ordered 3 bacon sandwiches from the menu Disappointed to get club sandwich type with 3 slices of bread, this should be more explicit on menu

We come here on a regular basis. Mallon is a nice little town to walk around. Some very nice nature hikes/trails. The Queens head is nice traditional pub that serves proper pub food at a very decent price. Very nice location on the river, during good weather you can sit on their terrace. Go for a stroll before or afterward... More

Popped in to the Queens Head whilst visiting Maldon this week. On a cold winters day the warm fire and food was just what we needed. The prices were very reasonable and the staff flexible to my dietary requirements. Would defiantly visit again if in the area.

My wife took me for midday dinner and we had a superb meal. The waiter service was friendly and polite. The outlook from the restaurant overlooks the quay and sea. A place we will come back to.

Just arrived home for a splendid , well-priced meal at The Queen's Head. The Staff were very pleasant and attentive, while the view from The Port Hole Restaurant was peaceful and serene overlooking the superb Thames Barges moored on The Hythe. The Moroccan Chicken was delicious and the seafood dishes were imaginatively presented and equally tasty. For this standard of... More

The best pub venue in Maldon, set on the Blackwater river.Thames barges aline the quayside. Large patio area, with seating for over 100 people. Over looked by Maldon St Marys Church. A wonderful setting on the quay, a fantastic old working dock fo yesteryear.
