Visited here as we were staying at the Crowne Plaza and the food was delicious 😀 The staff were run off their feet with customers but got everything spot on and were hapoy to help. The food was cooked to perfection & not overly priced either.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza for a spa night and ate in this restaurant for dinner, breakfast and lunch. We stayed on a Sunday night. When we went to the restaurant for dinner they did say it was normally a buffet style meal however due to the lack of bookings it would be cooked and bought to your table.... More

This used to be one of my favorite places to go on special occasions' we also stay at the hotel where this is based alot, however menu change has brought a massive drop in quality and service! Used to be the freshest and finest produce on our last visit we ordered burgers which were awful defiantly not fresh or made... More

I stay at the hotel because I get a good corporate rate and access to the free members bar, and eat here because it is convenient, however if I were paying myself I would always eat elsewhere. The service is very slow, and the food is basically average fair at gourmet prices.

We have used this hotel and its facilities on and off for 20 odd years and last night we ate here and will definitely not go back. Firstly we booked at 8pm, only to receive a call few days later saying they were very busy so they need to sit us at 8.30. We arrived, the lady on the desk... More

Spent one night at the Five Lakes with my girlfriend just to get away from it for a day! Initially I wasn't blown away but it was just nice to be away. The problems begun on the Valentines dinner we had (yes i know I've left it late to post!). Service was simply all over the place, I had to... More

The Brasserie has started to provide table service and we had a great meal. We were on a Groupon but the choice was fine and the food well cooked. Starters I had a buffalo mozzarella salad and y husband had melon with mint dressing and mixed berries, both good, For a main I had an aubergine saltibucca and my husband... More

Main meal was a carvery. I thought the amount of meat given was rather mean and the choice of veg poor, considering the price. (£20) The desserts looked nice but nothing offered for anyone wanting a low calorie option. At times the noise from other diners was so loud I could not communicate with the person sitting next to me.

Terrible service, terrible food and staff who were disinterested. This Brasserie styles itself as a high class restaurant, with a Maitre D, but it is little more than a cafeteria charging high class prices for those who choose to eat ala carte.

This must have been one of the worst dining experiencing I have had in a very long time. The service in the restaurant was appalling, we waited 15 minutes to even be acknowledged and then a further 5 before we had some service. Our starter took over half an hour to arrive, which is terrible considering it was a cold... More
