If you go to the Ancon Beach, you must have diner in the Marinera, ask the taxi driver to take you there in your way back to Trinidad. This restaurant combines great food with a beautiful setting - very friendly staff, and also live entertainment. We were staying right in Casilda, so it was only a 5-minute walk for us to get here, but it would also be a quick taxi ride from Trinidad. We felt that this was one of the best experiences of our (fantastic) 17... More

Not only was the food here fantastic but so was the atmosphere and the service. I loved the fact that right out back is the vegetable garden that serves the restaurant. Really one of the best places to eat in Trinidad.

One of the best paellas that I have seen in a long time. Personally I had the lobster and it was magnificent. Big and tasty and it was covered with plenty of shrimp. The service was prompt and friendly. The Cuban coffee was also very good. The prices were reasonable and the ambiance was family type. My friend who took... More

Really nice atmosphere, excellent fresh paella. We were a group of 16 kids and adults. Our driver took us to this place of the beaten path and we loved it. Reasonable prices.

To put it simply: the restaurant is 500m away from the fisherman and it feels like it. Paella, lobster were excellent. The place is very nice, with a Mediterranean feel to it, you could be in a posh Greek island restaurant for 12 EUR the lobster dish. Worth the trip from Trinidad.

Cuban restaurants are trying, but lack imagination and finesse. I think they are afraid to do something with the food, which is not the same as everybody else is doing. This restaurant has potential, as it grows it's own vegetable. When I visited, the garden, lettuce, onions and carrots were growing. The food is on expensive side as far as... More

Our taxi driver after taking us to the beach advised about this Paladar. We had a good meal, not expensive and in a nice atmosphere. The persons were smiling and we had a great time
