Friendly, great atmosphere, fab food. On the beach, Jeanette and her team are truly awesome. Always happy to see you, and excellent service. I prefer the madeariman to all the other pretentious eateries as the quality is top notch without having to put a posh dress on! Lol! It really is a great place xxx Just chill and enjoy which... Service took to long Price gouged us; ordered lobster at $29 per lbs. They brought us two pounds without asking and charged us $60. Ordered shrimp kabob; asked for additional kabob sans rice and sides. Was charged for two meals. French onion soup was gravy with baguettes and cheese slices. Tried to charge us $200 for three guests, and two... More

They have reopened (around December 20th, 2016 and I don't know what we would have done without them. The food and the service are terrific and it is exactly the kind of restaurant on the beach that you used to find in the Caribbean. It sits about 30 yards from the ocean and the views are heavenly. It was a... More

I love seafood, and simply grilled fish does not always tickle my taste buds so when I tasted my tuna tataki and my husbands grouper with a curry sauce and lovely sides of carrots and zucchini I was "blown away". Margarita on the rocks was fabulous too! I understand that this restaurant was recently rebuilt after fire but I could... More

Stepping off the stunning beach for lunch we were delighted with the clean aesthetic of Madeariman and the limited but thoughtful menu. Ordering a big salad and mussels, plus cold Carib beers, we were unprepared for the amazing mussels and fries. Both perfectly prepared, the portions were right and taste in the mark. Salad was good solid down the middle.

Shoal Bay staple. Madeariman, has been newly rebuilt after a fire. It has a large, beach front patio right on Shoal Bay. Cool vibes, with Caribbean cuisine. We tried the grilled Mahi-Mahi Kabob. It was cooked perfectly with rice and a small salad..We also enjoyed the Tuna Tataki with ginger, sesame seeds and seaweed salad. Portions are small. Consider ordering... More

We've had a lot of very good meals in Anguilla but none surprised us more positively than this one. The restaurant had just reopened after a fire. We came for lunch. Absolutely fantastic. Have the mahi kebabs. We will come again often.

We stayed at the Zemi Beach Hotel and had a few meals at Madeariman that we enjoyed. The owners are super friendly and great people. We loved the fresh Cray Fish for dinner and croissants for breakfast. It's has a lovely view and was a nice option that was beach side. We would recommend it if you are in the... More

One of few restaurants in the area, this place seems to be a staple. Simple beach bar/ Caribbean cuisine with friendly staff. If you're looking for quick service, this isn't your place, especially for dinner. Ate here three times, once for lunch and twice for dinner. Everyone enjoyed their meals on every occasion but all felt service was painfully slow... More
