I visited here with my partner's family for a meal and the food and drink was really lovely. The atmosphere upon arriving was very nice and relaxed, and couldn't fault the service either. I had the Hickory chicken which was delicious, and everyone else thoroughly enjoyed the meal as well. Will definitely be returning!

I visited here with my partner as we've been before and it's always been good. The restaurant was empty whilst we were there but the decor and cleanliness of the restaurant were brilliant. The food was reasonably priced. Very large portions!! We both ordered starters and mains. I had the brie wedges (be warned!! Massive portions!!) which was lovely and... More

Four of us went here yesterday for Sunday lunch. We all had the three courses, the starters were lovely. Two had Brie and two had melon. The Brie was a huge portion. Then three of us had the roast and one the steak. All the food was delicious and the portions were big. We all found room for dessert but... More

From outside not very impressive, but lovely and comfortable inside. Unfortunately there were two Parties there so, it was quite loud and we had to wait quite some time for our main course, but when It arrived it was lovely, although a larger portion would have been nice, the waitresses were all very young But the service was good, overall a... I have been here before, especially when the three course deal is on. But last Saturday was very disappointing. The three course meal deal was not on, so we had to choose from the main menu. Everything was so expensive. I had the venison steak which was priced just under £17.00 and I was quite shocked to receive four tiny... More

Returned to the Red Lion Penyffordd today (5 March 2017) for Sunday lunch. This is the first time we have returned since our feedback of 17 January 2017. Very glad to report that the food has returned to its previous standard. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
