The Flower Pots Inn, affectionately known as the “Pots” by our regulars, is a traditional Hampshire village Inn, set within the landscape of the beautiful South Downs. What’s more, it sits barely 50 yards from The Flower Pots Brewery, where our beers are produced! The Inn offers plenty of home comforts and a warm welcome. It is where we have been serving up our award-winning cask ales, other beverages and hearty homemade food to our all visitors for many decades. Indeed, we have been in CAMRA’s Good Pub Guide for over 45 years!

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We booked for Sunday lunch in the barn restaurant, lovely setting, menu choice was difficult as everything sounded great .. we weren't disappointed, presentation was very good , quality was great, and quantity .. well we would have liked desert but were too full !...To top off the experience was .. goodens gold from the barrel. But the big surprise was the value for money , we will definitely go back. Oh, and there was no rush to chase us from the table, we were catching up with friends and we lingered. . For a very long time .. over a coffee to chat , and no-one tried to move us on. Definitely a good find.More

Very disappointing. Need to review their booking policy. Tried to book two weeks in advance for my birthday meal with my family Both The website and staff said the reserved tables were booked but they always kept tables spare so there'd be no problem. Turned...up on the day with my two small kids and elderly mother for my birthday meal to be turned away as already full and all tables were taken. Extremely disappointing. If they had said they were fully booked I would've booked elsewhere and not been so let down.More

We called in at 12.30 on the off-chance. The car park was packed so we expected to be turned away but were lucky to get the last table for two. The Pots deserves to be, and is, very busy as the food and drink is...all such good value: starters about £7.00, mains £10-16, half of porter £1.95, a large glass of Tempranillo £6.00. Quite amazing these days! We both chose the venison burgers which were absolutely first rate, accompanied by lovely coleslaw and crispy chips. I was tempted by literally everything on the menu, even the veggie options. The young members of staff were all welcoming, friendly, efficient and enthusiastic. We can’t wait to try the Thai menu available on Wednesday evenings. By all accounts, it’s brilliant!More

Lunchtime Friday visit, not booked but went at 12:00 as there are always a number of unreserved tables - success!. Nice set of menu choices, I went with the Fillet Steak which was cooked perfectly medium rare, J went with the Chicken and Chorizo casserole...with bread, again really tasty. Had the IPA (not for the feint hearted) and the Perridge Pale. Service excellent.More

I have phoned 3 times in an attempt to sort out a problem with their website - and in spite of their assurance, no one has phoned me back. What sort of customer care is that? Are they just as slack in other areas, I...wonder? Perhaps we'd be better off going elsewhere. If you reply to this, I shall consider trying to phone you a fourth time and see what happens.More

This is the loveliest, most welcoming and friendly pub. We met friends for Sunday lunch and it was the first time we’d eaten there. The roast dinners were amazing - generous portions including a really nice variety of veg as well as cauliflower cheese, and...very good value for money. The beer is also really good!! Will definitely be back.More

Have now been here several times and never been disappointed. The roast pork is the best I’ve had every time, service is excellent and value is second to none. Blessed to have this place locally. Well done to Simon and the team.

Fantastic locally brewed beer and great food. I sat outside on a sunny day in a wonderful location surrounded by countryside. I had 3 different Flowerpot ales all served by gravity straight from the barrel and brewed just 50 yards away on the same site....For lunch I had the excellent and highly recommended local Roast Ham, Eggs & Chips. Tremendous value for money in these days of high inflation.More
