Situated just off the west coast of Mull, the Boathouse offers an unique dining experience for visitors to the picturesque island of Ulva. Specialising in fresh local shellfish landed from the family fishing boat, and home baking made every day, we also serve a selection of home made soups, rolls and daily specials.Open Easter 'til late September.Open Monday to Friday, Sundays June, July and August.Tea, cakes and coffees served daily 9am 'til 5pmLunch served 12noon 'til 4pm.Please note The Boathouse is on the Isle of Ulva, not on Mull itself, so it is necessary to take a short ferry trip from Ulva Ferry if you are not visiting on your own boat. Please see the Ulva website for further details

The food, staff, service, Donald on boat trip is all 10*! The freshest of seafood served with amazing views I can’t fault it at all, highly recommended to anyone visiting the area.

We had excellent weather to visit the island of Ulva. The crossing from Mull is an experience! You pay, cash, at the restaurant. We had our coffee upstairs - worth a visit - and then explored a little bit of the Island returning for lunch....More

This has to be the highlight of visiting Mull, a beautiful island with exceptional walks, maps given at the Boathouse. The food is just incredible. A must do.

Super lunch with friends. Soup and sandwiches . Fantastic quality all local produce. Watched an otter have it's lunch just about 200 mtrs away. Ulva is great for walks of various levels and length. Loads of other wildlife on and around the island. Best wishes...More
