Friendly attentive staff and best of all a large play area that can be easily viewed. There is a road between the cafe and play area so adult help ood idea. Children didn't want to leave ,... More

A stunning location for a coffee stop.would be a great place to spend a wee hour or so if travelling with children a great outdoor play area with the sheep running about as well. The fruit cake by the way was worth the trip.

Have eaten here numerous times and never been disappointed. The restaurant is very clean and staff are friendly. Loves the pides and they have a variety of vegetarian and meat ones. The pides come with a side salad which is plentiful. The views are amazing and overall I have always enjoyed myself!

We are just back from a late lunch at Cafe Thyme and it was absolutely fantastic. Home made lentil soup and delicious Turkish bread, hot from the oven, plus a mixed vegetable and jalapeno pide with a huge side salad. All delicious and beautifully presented. The cafe has lovely views out across the fields and to the water. The sun... More

We telephoned to check the Sunday lunch times. Til 3pm. We set off and SatNav said arrival 2.45! Then found the String road was shut so we couldn't get there til later. Not only did they keep the cafe open for us, but were SO accommodating when we did get there. Great food freshly made and cooked for us by... More

Even though we called in a little later in the day they were fantastically welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Wonderful selection and some really lovely things to eat! Soup of the day was home made and fabulous! Virtually everything appears to be homemade. Will definitely be going back.

Three of us visited for lunch and all had the "pides" (Turkish leaf-shaped pizza) with a deliciously dressed side salad and a glass of red. Mine was a haggis pides - yummy! The views across the bay were beautiful and the service very efficient. We also took a look around the lovely gift shop next door :-)
