Starter was blent, no taste. Main course was overfried fish with dry rice and frozen vetgetables out the micro wave. Other menu, same dry rice, no sauce, same vetgetables. Dessert crème brûlée came straight out the fridge on the table. Stone cold and half a fingher thick. Worse dinner in years!

We eat well and service was faultless our poor French greeted with grace and understanding. And they let us bring our 14 Cycles in with us too. 14 very satisfied English Cyclists will return, oh and I had the Forrestierre yum yum.

We went for the fish starter which was served up in shells...rather like Coquilles St Jacques minus the scallops! Very tasty. For main course I chose the chicken in a white sauce... More

Slice of supermarket insipid ham, with a sauce called Forestierre. It was a long time ago since the mushrooms were in any forest. Service was just about absent.

We stayed at Le Bien Assise in Guines but the on-site restaurant was fully booked on the night that we arrived. We tried L'Auberge de 3 Pays which is about 2 minutes drive up the road towards the A26 so definitely walking distance. It had a good selection of fish and meat dishes but we all opted for the steak... More
