Lunch at this wonderful restaurant is something not to be missed. We started with some great tapas and jugs of sangria, sitting by the waters edge, the views were stunning. We were then seated and ordered our food which was perfect, we had a lot of different starters to share and then a paella for seven, the service was professinal... More

We visited this blissful place on Christmas Eve last year. Apart from the most beautiful view of Es Cavallet Playa, and the precise alignment of the terrace to the afternoon sun and it's setting in the west, the food at this restaurant is wonderful. This is a busy place in the summer months, but it felt so much more comfortable... More

What a fantastic change, from being cooped up in the living room on New Year`s Day, celebrating my Granddaughter`s birthday, all sitting around making polite conversation, eating yet some more cake from the aftermath of Christmas. Not this year, January 1st 2017 was Charlotte`s 11th birthday (where did THAT time go), but instead of travelling a few miles in either... More

We went there for lunch day after Christmas. The place was very crowed but still the service managed to did well. The sea food is very nice, good cocktails but the best was the view and the live music, dj with jazz vocals, excellent environment. To finish we were invited the island local herb liqueur looking at the sunset... 10!

Found this place by chance. Black board menu with lots of choices. A little expensive but great value. Offered a house Cava, small glass of soup, sausage and bread with tomato as a chefs starter. Two Main courses, a bottle of house rose, one coffee 57 euros. Once we finished our meal, we sat by the sea in comfy loungers... More

Today I had been for a pre lunch drink at la escollera. The place was not very crowded because of the low season. We ordered a cava and a white wine. The waiters were not very attentive that we had to ask the different waiters for the bill. After 15min finally we could pay. Finally we decided to have our... More

Nice spot from which you can enjoy perfect views of the Mediterranean sea and the island of Formentera in the background. Just as comfortable as in my own sitting room I love boatspotting, planespotting or just watching the sea in front of you and the beach. At this time of the year it is just perfect. The bar offers beautiful... More

Description
In a location truly fit for a king – on the cusp of always sunny Es Cavallet – and serving cuisine truly fit for a king, it’s no surprise the philosophy behind long-serving Ibiza restaurant La Escollera is that the client is king! You want it? You got it. Panoramic views across the Mediterranean Sea, multiple shaded wooden-decked terraces, a cool, open plan indoor dining space, tables in the sand, a chill out lounge area, cocktail bar, the friendliest staff and a warm, family-run vibe – and then there’s the food!Serving up authentic Spanish and Mediterranean-influenced cuisine including fresh seafood and prime cuts of meat, the La Escollera kitchen is open all year round (lunch and dinner in summer, lunch only in winter). Famous for their paellas, choose between mixed, seafood, vegetable, chicken and rabbit or the house specialty, ‘La Escollera’ with lobster. Highly recommended is the ‘Gallo San Pedro’, John Dory baked in salt and served with Ibicenco-style potatoes, ‘Tigres’ (stuffed mussels) and ‘Boquerones Mami’ (anchovies), all made from original recipes courtesy of owner Daniel Gonzalez’s mother that have stood the test of time – almost 20 years. For the more modern palates, Thai style chicken, duck magret and the newest addition of Californian sushi aim to please. The perfect space for special events, La Escollera is also available for weddings and private functions for up to 300 people. Picture perfect and a taste sensation!White Ibiza
