We’ve eaten there before and will go back again. The service is good, the staff really friendly, the beer, wine and food all great. It’s a really friendly pub and not at all one where everything goes quiet when you go in! Dog friendly, too.

Great selection of gins! Food served latter end of the week only. Good menu with plenty of choice for a village pub. Starters included prawn cocktail and pork belly whilst mains included lamb shoulder Cottage pie, fish and chips and a ‘proper’ burger. The staff...More

Description
The Fire Engine has gone through a tenancy change from February 2017. We will be serving traditional homemade pub food at very reasonable prices. We now have two bars- one upstairs for mainly eating, quizzes and for when we have live music. We also have the new Well Bar downstairs, which has a pool table, darts board, and sports on the television. Our beer garden has been voted one of the top 15 beer gardens in Cornwall.
