Went for a quiet drink and the barman "alister" was a grumpy rude tw@@.Will not be returning.Think he was either hungover or still drunk from the night before.Shame apart from that

rude and unpleasant service with burnt food and raw chips ,my potato hadn't defrosted yet. do not come here the crockeey had barely been washed!

Un welcoming, contrary to the signs, presumably locals at the bar swearing Needs a bloody good cleaning, the chairs in the conservatory absolutely filthy, tables dirty and sticky, Electrics to Christmas decorations unsafe badly wired, Food awful and over priced. And the owner worried about...More

Compared with the Godolphin prices this was the best value by far. The pub is like going back in time and so lade back. Very friendly staff and a good variety of excellent food. Going back in June for two weeks.
