We enjoyed a great family pre Christmas Lunch at this popular pub. The 3 course meal - turkey & all the trimmings - was excellent and enjoyed by our party of nine, 7 adults & 2 children. The staff were very welcoming and looked after...our party well allowing us to enjoy some pre Christmas cheer. Thanks James & Sam for helping to organise our family gathering. Pre ordering our menu choices clearly helped everything to run smoothly.More

We were taken here by friends for lunch following our wedding and what a great choice. Fantastic location & genuine old country pub. Friendly welcome and great service. Extensive menu with plenty of options for everyone. All of the food we had was well presented,...extremely tasty with good portions. Lovely touch to have the dessert presented with “congratulations “ written across the plate! Look forward to returning to sample the evening menu.More

This is our second visit in 3 weeks and I felt compelled to write a review due to the outstanding service and quality of food. We were, let’s say, nervous about resuming ‘normal’ habits following the pandemic. We waited cautiously to see how things were...going before finally venturing out again. If you are like this, then look no further. Everything that can be done to make your visit safe has been done. Table service, one way system and waiting service in masks has remained. The quality of service and food is outstanding. Starters, mains and desserts have all been tried over our two visits and my only anxiety is how soon I can return to try more. First class job by a first class team. Thank you so much to you all.More
