We visited twice on our recent holiday in Cogne based on the reviews on Trip Advisor. The food is excellent - well cooked and super tasty however the service can be good and bad depending on the day you visit. The first time we visited which was on a Thursday night was excellent and the waitress was most attentive and... More

We came here for dinner last year and we never forgot our experience so we came back again and the food taste even better:) it was weird to be seated on the same table when we came last year but the ambiance was always good. We started our dinner @ 7:30 pm and finished almost at midnight already, we totally... More

As our hotel restaurant is terrible ( Hotel Belleuve), we started to looking for restaurants with Trip advisor ! This one is the number one recommendation, we tried to call and make reservation, the process was smooth , they have English speaking staff. As the town is very small, it is very easy to find and have parking area. They... More

We had read the great reviews about Lou Ressignon and really were looking forward to it. On the evening we went there was a a huge party going on. This meant we were shown to a table downstairs. The table was right adjacent to the place where one of the cooks was preparing food which made it very busy and... More

The restaurant feels a bit formal inside, but service is comfortable and welcoming. The food is hearty without being overly rich. We had a salad, pasta dish, lamb and fish, all of super fresh ingredients, expertly prepared. We were out of season, I understand, and the restaurant was only about a third full, tables well-spaced, quiet. Extensive, reasonably-priced wine list.... More

Warm and lively atmosphere, nice welcome. Typical dishes based on local cheese dried meat, rice and pasta, but the meat dishes are also quite good, such as the generously served rack of lamb, and some of the salads and pasta dishes are very imaginative. Prices are standard for this type of place, and some local wines are really cheap and quite... More

A bit pricy yep but the food is really really fresh. Most of the dishes contain ingredients that are local and extremely fresh. We arrived a bit late but they've been very nice to serve us anyway. Super recommended!

First visit was with our Italian speaking family and friends. Service and food both superb as was the atmosphere. We immediately booked for the last night of our holiday and they made it a memorable evening for us via both their warm welcome and great food. Immediately recognising that we didn't speak Italian the menu and specials were carefully explained... More
