We had a great time at Empório Santo Antônio. Several choices os dishes. The gnocchi with mushrooms was outstanding. We really hope to visit this place again.

If you are looking for an honest traditional Mineiro meal, there isn't a better place than this one. The food is quite good and flavorful. Service is very kind and attentive. I highly recommend a visit.
Just finished a delicious lunch with the wonderful people at Empório Santo Antônio! Great selection of Minas Gerais food not to be missed. Go hungry since it is a serve yourself place including food & desert for R$50/person. Very flavorful options of pork, beef and...More
When you start walking toward the restaurant you may catch yourself intimately asking yourself "do I really want to go there?". The answer is YES!! Although the walk is through a relatively uncharming residential neighborghood, the restaurant is worth it! Price is a flat 50,00...More
The best place to have a lunch in Tiradentes. A hidden place, far from the tourist places, but worth the visit. Not a good option if you wanna for a snack or quick lunch. But if wanna to eat a lot (really a lot) of...More
A careful recreation of different dishes of the traditional food of Minas Gerais either served as individual dishes (on weekdays) or on buffet presentation (on weekends). The room service is attentive and there is a small selection of wine to enjoy along the good meat.
Good food...excellent service...small and busy, so going either earlier or later than the rush hour is better...few different options for mains and desserts...not many options for salads...reasonable price...overall it's worth a visit.

Very good local food. Pork and ribs, been, farofa, fish, chicken, variety of fresh salads. Prepared very well. Very honest price, and you can serve yourself as many times as your wife stops you. The best value for money.
Antonella, our guide in Tiradentes, is quite a gourmet herself, coming from the hills of Northern Piedmont in Italy. So we tended to believe her when she promised us a surprise if we stopped for dinner at Emporio Santo Antônio. Was she right! Soraya, the...More
