We had the risotto carbonara and a pasta dish: both were amazing and the combinations worked out beautifully. The service is very nice and the music selection is superb. The panna cotta is an absolutely must try. Great experience and reasonable prices.

My wife and I had dinner at Gourmeco last Monday and we had an excellent evening. The service was good and the camembert & apricot risotto was wonderful.

I've been to all the nice restaurants in Tiradentes , but Gourmeco has a "thing", our meal was one of the best food I ever had. Every single detail you can tell that was made with love and kindness. The homemade limoncello OMG , better than in Italy lol, that's why I had two . Is one of the only... More

The menu looked sophisticated, but the dishes weren't well executed, even though the price wasn't exactly cheap. One of the steaks was practically raw and COLD, they blamed the issue on a defective stove. After taking it away to fix the issue, they returned the steak with little to no change, only the borders were warmer. The risottos were bland... More

Small and warm welcoming restaurant in the historical center of the beautiful city. Traditional home Italian cuisine with simple but very interesting menu and mouthwatering dishes. Its a little bit pricy but it worth.... When you ask for beer make sure they have enough stock in the fridge... When I asked for second had to change...

My husband and I both loved our meal here. I had the traditional Fettuccine Carbonara which tasted just like the ones I enjoyed on my trip to Italy. My hubby was more adventurous and tried the risotto with smoked trout and mandarin oranges. He really liked the combo of the smoky and sweet. For dessert we had the panacotta. The... More

I've been living in Brazil for fifteen years and before that I lived in Rome for two and this is the most authentic and unpretentious Italian restaurant that I've had the pleasure of eating at here until now. From its use of fresh ingredients to its care in preparation and presentation to its inventiveness in including local and authentic fare,... More

We tried a few restaurants in Tiradentes, including some of the top rated restaurants in the city and our best dining experience was at Gourmeco. The restaurant is a very charming space run by a friendly couple from Italy and Brazil. We tried some of the risottos including a risotto with smoked trout and mandarins which was one of the... Small restaurant, small menucard, but very good dishes and very creative. The owner is an Italian immigrant. Try from the entries the 'tijolos'. Very good music also.

Thank you, Constant. When we moved to Tiradentes, really we are looking for a small place where we could cook, serve well while talking to people, one of our greatest pleasures. A small establishment also allows us to better monitor the proceedings in the kitchen and the quality of our ingredients without outsource all processes. Umberto is Italian, born in... More
