The best Turkish and mediterranean cousine in Brentford. Great selection of starters and meat as well vegeterian dishes all with fresh ingredients. Cozy and authentically furnished hall and a view of river thames. Far from the noisy traffic close to taste and peace. Amazing portion sizes as well as the quality of the food. Highly recommended an awarded certificate of excellence by visitors on Trip Advisor. Whether alone or with a group pop in for a night with the river in front of it.

So so so Delicious

This place is amazing, we had a group dinner of 30 plus people at Galatapera and everyone likes the food, drinks, service and encouragement. The taste of meat was so so delicious. You can feel the taste of every ingredient that they have used to...marinade meat. Probably the best place inside M25. I have been so many places but Galatapera found different from all of them. Will be back 1000%More

Delicious Turkish restaurant

Went with my family to the restaurant on June and it was a lovely surprise. Food was excellent, well served and staff were super attentive and thoughtful. We live nearby and now always order the food on delivery. Really recommend

Stayed in Kew for a birthday

Stayed in Kew for a birthday weekend and had looked up restaurants to go to. We were not disappointed with our choice!! Tucked away within a residential area this is a gem of a place. The customer service was excellent and the food was just...incredible!! We had hummus with hot lamb and bread, liver and onion for starters which were so tasty. Then we had a mixed platter for a main course which would have probably fed four people! We so enjoyed the meal and the experience. Highly recommend.More

excellent

very wonderful place, hidden in Brentford Lock, Turkish-Mediteranian, very fresh, highly recommended ! I love the mezze the lamb and the bread ! The staff are delightful

A wonderful delight

Wonderfully delighted. We attended this restaurant for our anniversary. Lovely welcome. Ordered calamari starter which was seasoned well with a crispy flakey batter. The Mixed kebab orders were succulent. Great cut of meat. Chicken was grilled well and moist Customer service 10. Will definitely recommend...this restaurant and will be back. Outside dining should be nice I'm sure with warmer weather . Overall definitely a hidden gem a place to visit Well seasoned full of flavour. Compliments to the chef. We couldn't fault it.More

Beautiful place and delicious food with great service from the staff

Excellent food, went with my parents we were very impressed by the quality and value for money! We’ve been before and will definitely be back, everything was delicious, drinks were lovely and the service is perfect (friendly staff, give you plenty of time to look...at the menu, answer all questions about dishes)! Highly recommend! Humus Kavurma is fantastic, they provide a wonderful Turkish bread, the aubergine with tomato from the cold meze section is delicious too. Fabulous food and drinks.More

Amazing all round

Lovely atmosphere, service was excellent: just the right level of attentive to meet all needs without being excessive. Food was amazing, will definitely return!

Lunchtime visit

Only 2 of us on a Friday lunchtime and we would have preferred to eat outside but it it was too windy and the tables and chairs were still wet from the early morning rain. Only ordering 2 whole sea bass at £23 each our...waiter brought us a starter and desert free of charge so we’re delighted. The charcoal grill is the best for meat and fish and the menu includes a wealth of Turkish options. One of the best restaurants in town with exotic decor for evening dinner ambience.More

Loved it

A lovely restaurant which we chose because of the reviews . The service and food were excellent. First time I had dined at a Turkish restaurant and thoroughly loved my starter of humus with warm bread for dipping . My main was lamb and chicken...mixed yoghurtlu served with rice , so tasty . Lovely restaurant with generous portions and staff

Lovely restaurant near the river, beside a little inlet. Great tasty food, generous portions. Dips and lovely warm bread for starter. Sea Bass was beautiful. Staff attentive and friendly.

The best birthday takeaway - unexpectedly and kindly delivered for us!

This is one of our favourite restaurants and the takeaway of choice of my son for his birthday dinner. I ordered online for collection - which was very easy and straightforward to do. My sister was due to collect the order and cycle it over...but when she arrived, the restaurant was so concerned that the food wouldn't fit on her bike that they offered to deliver the food for us! It was such amazing customer service and we were so grateful. As ever, the food was fantastic, the portions very generous and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you to everyone at Gelata Pera!More

Yummy

Very good - sat outside on a sunny evening. Lovely staff. Recommend the barbecued sea bass - felt like being on holiday. Nice Pinot Grigio.
