We visit Emmaus a lot, and love to brows its various rooms for all manner of pre loved nick knacks as well and clothing. They also sell quality furniture for a decent price. There is also a great little café where you can enjoy home...made soup, coffee, tea, and cake. All for a bargain price.More
I came here with my mum and baby girl after hearing good things, it really is a great place and concept, we loved looking round and there’s some bargains to be found. Loads of great books and a little area to read them too for...the kids! We had a bite to eat in the cafe and everyone is so friendly, we had coffee and cheese on toast which was simple but tasty, it’s ridiculously cheap and well worth a visit! I’ve been back a couple of times since and love just having a mooch round and then a drink in the cafe.More
Yes folks, as long as your best friend is on a lead they are welcome in Emmaus. If you have time to spare, fancy some home made soup (stilton and broccoli is particularly good) or a cake washed down with some delicious coffee, head to...Emmaus. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. You can browse round the store and on Tuedays and Fridays they open their hidden treasures rooms. I saw some beautiful crystal liqueur glasses, real good quality, six for £14, a bargain! I only didn't buy them because of lack of cupboard space! All this AND at the same time you are heping the local homeless, what more could you ask for?More
Called in yesterday with my 2 children who loved this place. They had a sale on the toys and my 4 year old was so excited. Had a drink snack and cake in the cafe was lovely. The prices was so fair. This charity do...so much for the community and homeless and the people working there are friendly. Can highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a bargain or some lunch.More
Such a friendly atmosphere. Everyone involved was helpful and accommodating. Such a range of items available, clean and neat, whether large or small, furniture or clothing. Over two floors, with smaller areas for collectables , it was a pleasure to look around, and I got...a couple of items.. Thank you all.More
Great place to have a good old mooch for bargains, friendly and very helpful staff who live on site.
They also serve the best cheese & ham toasties in Greater Manchester, in Lucy's cafe on the second floor of the mill. Great social enterprise concept...well worth a visit.More
