We went to the pub today for Sunday lunch and were delighted with our meals. Home cooked food with huge portions. We had the beef roast which was delicious. Nice friendly pub in a wonderful location. Well worth a visit and I’d definitely recommend.
We booked an evening meal here while on holiday in Suffolk. Beautiful setting and worth the effort to get there. Superb friendly welcome; we almost felt we were family. It was quite quiet when we were there, although there was a parish council meeting going...on in the bar which added to the lovely atmosphere. Incredibly friendly and that was before the food arrived! The menu is typical pub grub but was quite exceptional. A Shepherd's Pie with SIX vegs, all beautifully cooked and presented, and the steak was sublime with such beautifully cooked chips, onion rings etc. Then there was the dessert menu!!! We only had room for one between us.
Exceptionally good value.
All in all this was a superb evening and we felt very comfortable. The decor is also very tasteful and pleasing. We'll definitely be returning here to eat when we're next in Suffolk. Must try the Sunday roast.More
My family group of 8 loved our meals. We have eaten here several times this week and last year. The food is excellent . Service is so friendly and helpful accommodating our children’s meals snd a vegan meal request. The Menu is varied, portions generous and...our group aged 10- 90 years all really enjoyed their meals including the vegan options. I would not hesitate to recommend this pub and restaurant and look forward to visiting again. Especially loved the steaks, pork and vegan curry not to mention the dessertsMore
Spent a week in holiday cottage in Huntingfield and was fortunate to have the Huntingfield Arms on the doorstep. Ate here on 3 separate evenings, and had different meals each time - all to an excellent standard and all very reasonable in price. Food was...homecooked and plentiful. Owners really welcoming. Everything you can want from a country pub.More
A lovely country pub with a friendly feel. So good to have a meal with friends like it used to be. The food was excellent as was the service which made for a very enjoyable evening. We have been before and we will most certainly...come again.More
We decided to divert via Huntingfield on our way home from Cratfield Open Gardens Day. The sun was shining and the Huntingfield Arms garden looked inviting so we stopped for a drink. One thing led to another and we ordered Sunday lunch too, roast lamb...with roasties, yorkies, greens, broccoli, carrots, swede, green beans and cauliflower cheese. Excellent, £11 per head, lovely peaceful surroundings, friendly service. Must go again soon,More
