We ate here last night for the first time. It definitely will not be the last though. We had bread which was served with delicious garlic butter and bruschetta to start, beef bourgninon with the most delicious mash and perch with Mediterranean vegetables for main...which was amazing and chocolate souffle and lime and lemon cheesecake for dessert. This wasn't the cheapest meal in san stefanos but the quality was exceptional and Sue and her staff were excellent. We will return before the end of the holiday.More

Although most of the Restaurants /Tavernas we visited in Agios Stefanos were of a very high standard, most, as expected, served traditional Greek dishes and desserts....until we came upon Beachcomber Bistro....... The first night we ate there, we arrived, not having booked a table, but...after sampling their amazingly different menu, we immediately called over the owner Sue and booked a table for that weekend on a front table to be able to enjoy another glorious sunset.......What could be more perfect....? All the dishes and desserts we tried, were amazing and so full of flavour and the excellent waiter Angelos,as well as Sue the owner's attentive service, enhanced our experience, so much so, we rated this Bistro as our top Restaurant during our recent 2 week stay in this wonderful part of Corfu. Much credit also goes to the Chef, Kimon, who we met on our way out of the Bistro on our last visit there... All we can add, is that it certainly won't be our last visit...cant wait to return to Agios Stefanos and Beachcomer Bistro..... Just hope all these fabulous reviews don't make it so popular that we won;t be able to book a table in the future...lol... Thanks again to Sue , KImon and Angelos...and hope to see you all Very Soon....More

Very picturesque restaurant overlooking the sea. Not a large menu, but excellent food and service. A beautiful place to be to watch a perfect sunset.

This is definitely a Bistro rather than the traditional Greek taverna fayre. A smaller menu than the other restaurants, but this is because your food is all freshly cooked. I had chicken liver pate with toast which was delicious, while my partner had meatballs which...were full of flavour. For mains, my partner had seafood spaghetti, served with a light tomato sauce which he enjoyed as a tasty alternative to the creamy sauce that is usually served with this dish. I had beef stroganoff which was so full of flavour, I could taste every ingredient listed in the description of the dish from the menu. Rice was perfectly cooked. The whole meal was thoroughly enjoyed by both of us. Including a bottle of red wine we paid 44 Euros for this very fine feast which made it excellent value. Would highly recommend visiting this restaurant when holidaying in San Stefanos.More

We love this bistro as they offer dishes that you would not see in a typical taverna and it gives you an alternative choice.I had the mussels for my starter followed by the pork and pear dish for my main course. We were disappointed with the...quality of the mussels. Although all of the shells were large, a number contained very small mussel meat and others were empty! two of our party ordered the mussels and both dishes were the same. We did point this out to Sue the owner who could not believe it and went off to the kitchen to investigate further but she did not return and no money was deducted from the bill. The pork and pear was delicous as was the house red wine and the view accross the sea but have marked our review down due to the poor starters and lack of response.More

Definitely more of a bistro than a taverna with top quality food at a reasonable price. The view is beautiful especially at sunset. Really friendly service and very helpful with gluten free options. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Our food was slightly above average but acceptable although the pork was a bit too salty for me and I like salt! For some reason, after our main course we became invisible. The staff were fawning around other people who obviously had been there before...and faffing about talking about desserts, running up to other tables extensively discussing the desserts. I have no idea if these were gratis (somehow based on the style of this Bistro, I doubt it) but no one came up to us to ask if we'd like to see the dessert menu or if we wanted a coffee or liqueur, brandy etc. By the time my husband finally managed to attract someone's attention for the bill, I'd gone off the idea anyway. My preference is to eat Greek when in Greece. If I wanted French food I'd visit France. I'd say the menu is 70% French style food but by the time we sat down we were so hungry we thought we'd stay. I found the decor quite sparse and clinical. I hate bad service and I thought the food was expensive for what we had, being the most expensive meal we'd had so far. Let those who adore the place, who no doubt get personal service return. We will not be back.More
