We are here several times over the week, absolutely fantastic food - really recommend the Cretan salad and the staff were really friendly. Recommend a good look around inside at the alcohol on sale!

Kept returning to this restaurant during our stay. Located on the beachfront. Every meal was delicious. I particularly enjoyed their fresh seafood and good service. At the end of every meal we were presented with a complimentary drink and ice cream.
We were very excited to try this restaurant out after hearing great reviews recently - its in a beautiful location and has a lovely bustling, busy atmosphere. Overall, the food was delicious and the portion sizes were really good. However unfortunately our chicken souvlaki was...pink raw in two pieces, hence the 3 stars. When notifying the waiter of this, instead of apologising and bringing us a fresh one she said something along the lines of ‘what do you want me to do - put it back on the grill and cook those two pieces a bit more?’. We found this response disappointing as it lacked an apology and made us feel like an inconvenience (and also definitely not food safe!!). In the end they brought us 2 fresh pieces of chicken out, but this was long after our meal was finished so we had to take them back in a takeaway box.More
Best place to eat on the row of restaurants in Almyrida. Everything we tried on the menu was fantastic and it was very busy each evening we went. Can’t wait to return next year.
We visited Psaros four times during our two week holiday. It’s a wonderful setting overlooking the beach and we enjoyed it at both lunch time and in the evening. The staff are very friendly and it’s a great atmosphere. The food is fantastic. All the...dishes are amazing and the portions are very generous. The lamb kleftico was spectacular.More
Great food and location. Recommend. Word of warning, huge portions! ………get there early to get a place overlooking the sea, perfect setting.
Nice restaurant right on the beach which a beautiful sea view. Big portions of very good food and not se expensive. Friendly staff, which makes your stay nicer. 😊
Psaros is one of the best restaurants in Almyrida. great for seafood. We had the mixed seafood for two (€48) and it was enormous – it could probably feed four people. We went twice. Service is friendly and you get a free ice cream and...obligatory bottle of Raki.More
The best for dinner or lunch also great view and service but also lets not forget the food 10/10 I would recommend this restaurant if you want a relaxing place to eat
Decent taverna right on the seafront. Lots of choice, with some nice seafood choices. Typically priced for the area. Staff are helpful too.
Visited Psaros for 3 meals whilst in Almyrida - 2 of the meals were spot on so booked to come for our final night of the holiday. Ordered the chicken souvlaki which was pink and slimy - the restaurant can be very busy so servers...not as attentive to customers, notified server of issues with chicken to his response “chicken can be pink” went on to show him the colour of the chicken to the reply “I will go and show the kitchen” came back with 4x slices of watermelon and then ignored us for the rest of the night. Asked for the bill several times as just wanted to leave by this point - no acknowledgement or solution given to us regarding undercooked chicken 🤢🤮 shame if they don’t understand the importance of correctly cooking chicken.More
Without doubt the best meal we had all week in Alymrida. The restaurant was always buzzing with people enjoying their meals, the views are out of this world, the service was incredible and the whole ambience of the place was fantastic. I had the salmon...and it literally melted in my mouth, my husband had the chicken with onion and balsamic glaze which looked delicious. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant 100%More
Too busy for the amount of staff. Slow to be severed and had to chase them for drinks. Main courses was raw and uncooked. Poor service and unsatisfactory response to our complaint. Would not go back again
The food here is amazing. So much variety and something for everyone. The portions are massive though! Great value for money and my dinner was so tasty I wanted to eat it all but it defeated me!! Will be back again later this week for...sure.More
Ate here twice. Brilliant twice, great service. Extensive menu which includes local seafood - pick your own fish. Cretan specialities too.
