We ate here a couple of times during our stay in Arillas, and we were not disappointed. Dimitris told us what the specials were, and we opted for these each time. One night we had chicken in lemon sauce, moussaka, courgette balls and tzatziki. The...next time pastitchio and salad, washed down with the local wine. Absolutely delicious 😋More
The quality of the food is way below basic stsndards, especially in comparison to the price. In addition, everything was too salty, too spicy or burnt. However, the service was much better than the food.
Absolutely superb restaurant. The food is outstanding, with plenty of choice for vegetarians. The vegetarian moussaka is exceptional and the courgette keftedes are absolutely delicious. Wine was superb and locally made. Dimitris was a brilliant host and greeted me by name, as I had made...a reservation (make sure to do this as they are fully booked every evening in high season) and the prices were very reasonable. Can't recommend enough.More
Lovely traditional Greek taverna. The owner makes his own oil which is beautiful. The daily specials are lovely but to be honest you are spoilt for choice with the menu. The moussaka and pastisio were both beautiful as was the sharing platter. Very lovely restaurant...with a beautiful setting eating under grape vines.More
Make sure to book as it is very popular. The zucchini balls are the best I tasted on my holiday. Dimitris was a delight
I have been visiting Arillas for many years and over that time have left a few reviews so thought i would update my reviews with a current one. Once again we visited the Outstanding ‘Brouklis Taverna’ and had marvellous experience both in terms of the...food and service. Dimitri and his family are excellent hosts and this taverna is worth a visit. Call in and introduce yourself and book a table.More
Tsigareli, spourdopita, to name two of them, are hardly known even among locals. The multilingual owner will be more than happy to explain everything including the history of the place. A traditional decor like in the old times emphasizes the tranquil character of Arillas. Well...done!More

One of my favorite places to eat. In the world! Very charming and attentive service combined with real homemade Greek food - and not just meats but interesting vegetarian options.
I love this place. Food is delicious !!! Dimitrios - thank you so much for your hospitallity and food recommendation. We had a really fantastic food experience.
This place plays to what a lot of people think a taverna should look like, right down to the blue and white tablecloths. Unfortunately, the food didn't match the promise on our visit. The moussaka consisted of a thin veneer of meat sandwiched between a...potato bas and a thick, flavourless topping - served lukewarm and accompanied by two small roast potatoes. The owner seems to spend most of his time schmoozing high-spending customers while leaving a solitary waiter to do the lifting.More
The staff were all very friendly, welcoming and attentive. The service was great and the meals were delicious. Fairly priced and the house white was lovely too. Definitely recommend this classic Greek taverna!
brilliant food, walk in, got any sardines, both share a big plate full with some bread and wine, unbeatable!
We ate here a couple of times and loved it. The meze starter for one is divine. Good choice and very resonable. Dimitris is a look a like richard gere ! Very handsome !! Speaks great English explains what the special are.
