This is now our favorite restaurant in the area. We live not far from here and it's excellent every time. service is great and nothing is too much trouble.

We visited this Inn on recommendation from our B and B . However on arrival the door was closed and it turned out the staff thought it was unlocked but it wasn't, not a real problem. However we ordered the Pie of the week a beef and ale one. On arrival we found it to be very dry and the... More

We came in with high expectations as in our hotel they shared some information which sounded promising - it was NOT so promising to be honest First, we were sat next to the pool table, it was an area where a few people played all the time so there was movement around he table all through dinner, with some times... Arrived at 6.15pm and asked for a table for 3 with 2 dogs. We had researched dog friendly pubs as we were on holiday. So very disappointed to find that they only allocated 3 tables for people with dogs. We were advised we could have a table but not with the dogs. We reluctantly put the dogs back in the... More

We had a lovely meal here recently in a really nice setting. Only downside is there was just way too much food per person - no need for there to be so much.

We called in early evening without booking and the staff quickly found us a table in the bar. The food was lovely and a reasonable price. Will return if in the area 😊

After reading the reviews my daughter and I decided to stop here for our dinner on a Friday night. I had rang ahead as we were bringing our dog, to be told they have 3 tables that accept dogs. On our arrival at approx 6pm, we waited at the bar, which was full of workmen finished for the week, before... More

Always a warm welcome, always delicious food highly recommend but book ! This pub/restaurant has excellent seating areas in the conservatory, or a quiet secluded table at the rear of the restaurant or on a sunny day sit out on the terrace. Great for lunch or dinner or just drinks. Very dog friendly too !

The Rydon Inn is a converted traditional Devon Long House, it has been beautifully developed, with high vaulted ceilings exposing all the beam work in the main pub area, this also includes an unconventional thatched bar. The idealiac conservatory eating area over looks our large landscaped gardens and peaceful lake which houses outdoor seating for those long summer evenings. There is a pool table to keep you and the kids entertained. If you would like something a little more private we have our restaurant in the original part of the Devon Long House, which is ideal for more secluded smaller group meetings or dinners.
