Met for lunch with friends and had a great time. We all selected different meals and everyone's food was fabulous.

Booked a table for lunch and took my 91 year old father in law out for a treat. We were served by a young gentleman called Fraser and just wanted to say how fab and attentive he was. Nothing was too much trouble for him....All the meals ordered were delicious and affordable. We travelled from Cardiff and we will most definitely be making another visit. 5 star food and service. Food was almost inedible. Barbecue sauce was watery and chips were hard overcooked and appeared to have been reheated. My husband's sea bass (wasn't fresh fish as expected more like frozen} was tasteless and the cockle and larva bread sauce more like milk. We were...asked by the waitress initially if all was okay but felt not worth complaining as we wouldn't have chosen a replacement meal anyway. Spoke to the bar lady who took payment and explained that we were not happy but her response was that she would report our comments back to the kitchen no offer of a refund! Staff were pleasant but appeared very young and clearly saw we had not eaten our food but did not approach to ask us why. We eat out on a regular basis and would definitely not recommend to friends or family.More

My Daughter booked lunch for my birthday 21st May. I expected the restaurant to be busy, but there was only one other table occupied by a couple and child. We both ordered the same food, and when it arrived the grilled salmon was over cooked...and dry and stringy. The carrots and peas cold, and the sauce not what I had ordered. The mashed potato was cold and lumpy. I ate very little. When I was asked if the food was ok I said no it was not. The young lady waiting on tables said Chef had apologized and would reduce the price! I pointed out it was not about cost, just the disappointment of being served food no self respecting Chef would send out of the kitchen. Needless to say we did not stay for dessert.More

Very nice venue, very helpful and polite staff . Food was delicious and served quickly . Reasonable prices.

First class service & First class food. The staff were very good and very helpful the food was lovely and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We will be back.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was very relaxing. The welcome from the staff was friendly and polite. The food was well cooked and presented. One minor point,...For a larger man (Not obese may I add) lol 😆/ big eater, maybe a few more chips would...have made the meal more filling.More

If you want decent tasty vegetarian options as well as the usual meat dishes on offer, this is the place for you. Particularly like the vegetarian shepherd's pie and onion rings. Large portions at reasonable prices. The staff are friendly and happy to help. You...might need to book because it's a popular place.More
