Very good beer at reasonable prices. Food wholesome, reasonably priced and no pretensions which is a bonus nowadays.

great food and good prices. First time I have had deep fried haggis fritters. Were great. You can eat in the bar or they have a restaraunt.

Fortunately, and long may it continue, the interior of this fine Yorkshire pub has remained untouched. It is a place where you can sit and chat; whether in your own group or with the person sat nearby. The beer is deftly poured and clings to...More

Charming wee Pub, rooms for the footie watchers, separate from us diners but enjoyed hearing the banter. Large menu choice, specially liked the Ribs and Chicken Curry, Landlady made us very welcome.

A warm welcome to this 16th century old coaching inn. We have very cosy small rooms where you can have a quite drink or a noisy one if you like. Try our 3 hand pulled beers Tetley cask Timothy Taylors Landlord or Reverend James, this year we are the only pub in Malton to make The Good Beer Guild. The compact smoke room retains its bench seating, boarded ceiling and corner counter, we have a very small bar to serve from you have to see it? The public area has a log fire in winter and yo we be welcomed by all our locals. The rear of the Blue Ball as a patio area for those, for those warm sunny days if we ever get them. We have a good selection on our food menu. Lunch Thursday to Sunday or evenings every day except Wednesday This s a selection you can chose from. Great Steaks, Fish and chips, Pie and Chips, Roast salmon, Ostrich steaks Haggis and lots more, average price £9.95 Steaks from £ 15.00. Great Sunday Lunch Roast dinners as they should be £7.50 Call in and see us . Chris
