This Restaurant is one of the best I've been in for many of years, it had everything, class, friendly, very Tasty and wholesome food, 1st class service and at very reasonable prices. Nothing was to much. Well done the Ragini 👏👏👏👏

Wonderful service with extremely warm and attentive staff. The food was delicious with extremely generous portions and authentic Bengali food. I couldn't recommend this place enough, my wife and I will definitely return. Best food we have had in the South West by far!

Our meal last night was absolutely delicious 😋 at Ragini Seaton. Great welcome on arrival shown to the table l had requested on booking. Lovely atmosphere friendly staff excellent service and value. Was looking forward to this meal, however was quite disappointed. We were only offered an early spot. We ordered Popadoms and bhaji and pickles ,2 Thali and a couple of curries. We wanted the popadoms and bhaji with the meal, but they were brought out...as starters. Probably just as well as I think we waited at least and hour for our meals. Was a busy Saturday night to be fair, but so many people come for take aways and they seem to get priority. When our meal arrived all of the food was luke warm ,as if it had been sat waiting. The flavour was ok, portions small, lamb gristly. Also felt a bit close to the other tables, we won't go back.More

What a fab find - welcoming yet efficient service, nice wine, brilliant menu with the freshest vegetable & salad ingredients - we’ll be back. We went on a Friday night & it was super busy so advise booking.

Booked this restaurant on the basis of Trip Advisor reviews and were not disappointed. It was busy on this Sunday evening. We opted for the Ragini Thali - described as a traditional meal where several different dishes were offered on a metal platter - designed...as a sharing platter. We agreed the various items were very tasty and, as my wife and I have modest appetites one platter was enough for the 2 of us. We did feel that the service became patchy notwithstanding that there appeared to be plenty of staff. Maybe a traditional Indian way but after they cleared the empty plates we were not asked if we wanted anything else although there are a good selection of spirits, etc available. Eventually we called for our bill and left. We would have given a score of 5 apart from this.More

Booked a table during our holiday based on recent good reviews. We were extremely disappointed. We like Pathia and usually I ask for mine to be a little less hot. Every restaurant I’ve ever been to has obliged. Here they couldn’t do that. I asked...for a recommendation - they recommended a dish which was garnished with cream. I fancied it and asked for it without the cream- they couldn’t do that. In the end I asked for a recommendation but they didn’t seem to know which dishes were less hot. In the end I settled for a dish the waiter pointed to. My husband had the pathia. My dish was the same heat as his! We ordered onion Bahji. Never had a spicy onion Bahji - boy were these spicy! Pickles: the onion pickle was just chopped onion where normally there are other bits in it.?At the end of the meal they cleared the table and we waited for the dessert menu. In the end we had to ask for one. They DONT DO DESSERTS! Not even ice cream. NOR COFFEE!! Unbelievable! Well added to the fact that the lamb was tough as old boots and my chicken was obviously cold cuts off a roasted chicken that ended any goodwill I had been feeling towards the restaurant. The decor was good and it appeared clean. Other than that there’s not a lot to be said for it.More

We found this little gem of a restaurant whilst on a short break in Seaton. The food was excellent and the service friendly and professional. I would recommend Ragini and would certainly go back if we were in the area again.

Every dish had own unique flavour different levels of spice waiter gave good advice when asked about dishes. Very clean and decor nice .choices of wine very good on menu

We've had several takeaways and a few eat in meals from Ragini over several years. The food is always excellent. We're vegetarian and have tried several dishes - always beautifully cooked, well presented, lovely flavours. Great service too.

I had two excellent meals at Ragini during my holiday. I can't recommend the paneer jalfrezi enough. Service was great.
