Visited the Boat House Brasserie with a group of cyclists. The brassiere had a great selection of cakes and coffees. Reasonable value for money

Called in for lunch with a friend. Very busy, extensive menu, bit pricey but great quality food and big portions. I ordered a side of chips with my meal as they looked so good but struggled to manage them. Couldn't leave, however, without sampling the cakes so shared a slice between us - delicious! Will definately return.

Four of us went for lunch. We had a steak and mushroom pie, a lasagne, and 2 Tuscan chicken all from the specials board and we all enjoyed the food very much. I had the Tuscan chicken which was really tasty with lots of veg and the sauce with beans was simply delicious. There is a good range of sweets... More

Lunch with a friend, consistently good food with plenty of choice ranging from sandwiches to meals to just amazing cakes! The food is freshly prepared and well presented. Well worth a visit but book if you think it will be a busy time.

I took my husband, sister in law and two young grandchildren and had a lovely lunch. The children's meals, (sausages, chips, beans and chicken gougons, chips and beans) were lovely. The chicken gougons were made with real chicken and sandwiches were very generously filled. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend that you book a table in advance as... More

Seriously who makes those cakes! They taste as good as they look but no good if you're calorie counting Breakfasts are good too Popular with cyclists especially weekends so do book yourself a table so not to be disappointed When the weather is fine you can sit outside on the abundance of seating - time it right though or they'll... Met up with friends for a catch-up. Frosty day so we were glad to get in-doors. We were met with a warm welcome from the staff. We ordered two Boater's Breakfast and two Egg Benedict's. When the breakfast's arrived at the table, the poached eggs on the Egg Benedict's were 'puurrrrrfect' as was the crispy bacon. The Boater's Breakfast's were... More

My wife & I returned to the Boat House yesterday for Lunch. We had to book a table in advance, as this is obviously now the place to eat in this area. Our table was kindly reserved for us when we arrived. I choose the Home-made Steak Pie, and my wife went for the Mushroom Stroganoff. When I went to... More
